I replied to your PM but you did not feel the need to get back to me.
Still looking or just wasting time?
2  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Have a few minutes to spare? Need help testing my Bitcoin payment system on: November 24, 2014, 08:26:19 AM
Thanks to all who have tested things so far .... I also see that some are testing the software for bugs/exploits   Grin

Not a problem, you have my permission, BUT please report any exploits you find. Find something really nasty and I'll thank you in non TestNet Bitcoins.
3  Bitcoin / Project Development / MySupportForum.com - Need help testing Bitcoin payment system on: November 23, 2014, 10:29:13 AM
Hey guys,

I would like to offer Bitcoin payments and have finally written a basic payment system to gain some experience.

The setup consists of one server running bitcoind and another the webserver. Both severs are connected via an ssh tunnel and the webserver can query bitcoind using RPC.
Everything works fine when I test it but stuff like that may fail when someone else attempts to use it ....  Huh

So I am looking for a few volunteers with TESTNET Bitcoins to spend. The payment system is build into the forum software I am working on so you need to

I am primarily looking for input how the payment process worked for you but input on the rest of the software is welcome as well.

Thanks in advance to anybody willing to give this a shot!

No TestNet coins?
http://tpfaucet.appspot.com/ http://faucet.luis.im/ http://faucet.xeno-genesis.com/

or reply here and I'll send you some.
Any coins received during this test will be donated back to the faucets listed above.

usagi, is "mom and pop" a computer store?

US-Americans use that term to describe a locally owned store. So a stored which does not belong to a major chain.

EDIT:
Here you go, the definition by the people of the Internet: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Small_business

@Inaba
I tried to register on your forum but I did not get my confirmation e-mail and I can't reset the password because your e-mails never arrive at my gmail account (not in SPAM).

I would like to report that I am getting a lot of rejected shares on your pool. On others I get around 0.6% but on yours it is way too high. 270Mh/s, 468 Accepted, 35 rejected (6.93%)
This is not the first test. My first attempt at mining at your pool ended with an idle phoenix, about 3000 submitted shares and also ~6% rejects.

Not sure what is going on but this is too much for me. I know it is not on my end because my miners will run "forever" on other pools.

Account reactivated, stop whining now - I have more important things to do.
This sucks. Make a decision and stick with it.
All you have done now is invite the endless whining when the next cry baby finds something he or she does not like.

Ban the bastards and keep em banned.
8  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [~2700 GH/sec] BTC Guild - 0% Fees, LP, SSL, API, Full Decimal Payouts and more on: July 12, 2011, 09:54:21 AM
I started a fresh miner an hour ago to check for rejects and so far everything is good.
I am using uswest and have 436/3

Keep up the good work!

EDIT: LOL, well so much for that. It worked right upto the next round. Disconnected + idle for over a minute.

Programmers may be force multiplier and harbringer of extreme efficiency, but we have to relies on auto mechanics, laundrymat owner, and nail saloon for our girlfriends.
We bitcoiners are specialist in bitcoin but will be ignorant about pretty much anything else, except perhaps programming and some entrepeneurship.

True but if you present "us" with something new we will try to understand it so we are not as ignorant anymore.

The stupid masses on the other hand will look at a topic, shake their head because it so complicated/does not fit into their reality  and listed to another idiot who will explain the issue to them. Problem is that the "other idiot" tends to have ulterior motives so stupid people  will stay ignorant.

happy mining!
Hätte ich auch gemacht aber in deiner ersten Post fehlt die Quellenangabe == geistiger Diebstahl.

Mhhh, Gutenberg ging durch jede Zeitung aber es scheint doch nicht jeder mit bekommen zu haben....
11  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin7 a new exchange on: June 27, 2011, 09:08:21 AM
As far as I can tell, the EU cashouts are free of charge, and this makes B7 more interesting than the other exchanges, where a cashout to SEPA zone is insanely pricey.
Where do you see that?
This page: https://bitcoin7.com/index.php?show=withdraw_funds
states: EU Bank Transfer   FIBank (EU)   EUR bank transfer to EU bank   12-22 EUR

Which is insane for an EU2EU transfer and means that I am not trading there.
Or did I miss something?
12  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is anyone buying bitcoins at MtGox right now? on: June 27, 2011, 08:38:22 AM
all my friends moved their BTC out to www.tradehill.com upon my hint
Well there are quite a few European users and to us Mt Gox is still the cheapest choice .... it is not as if the other exchanges come with an ani-theft insurance.

So while there was plenty of bitching about Mt Gox, their service is back up and the money of most appears to be there.
Shit can always go wrong but apparently they where able to prevent it hitting the fan Wink

Careful with PayPal. If the transaction is disputed BOTH accounts may be locked if one of you mentions bitcoins!
14  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What's your Mhash/s? (Pissing contest here) on: June 26, 2011, 07:01:14 AM
running a 6790 at 990MHz and I am getting around 260MHhash/s

I see some are using laptops for mining. That is a good way to kill them. The components are not made to be under 100% load for extended periods of time. First thing to go is the fan or if you are unlucky some parts may actually desolder.
15  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BitBetter.org - bitcoin fun on: June 26, 2011, 06:54:53 AM
Interesting project. I'd like to order a Pizza some day and pay with bitcoins.
Maybe I'll be able to do it through your site one day Wink
16  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: BTC Guild - 0% Fees, Long polling, SSL, JSON API, and more [~550 gH/sec] on: June 06, 2011, 07:42:22 AM
Hey guys,

I really like your pool but I need to take a short break until your EU server is online.
I think that you have been doing a fantastic job of keeping the server running and upgrading it so it can handle the ever increasing load. +630GH/s !!!!!!

Please keep up the good work!
CU on the EU server.

Yes I am donating to fund this awesome pool  Smiley
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: What happens to the .01 Bitcent after using bitcoin-php with sendtoaddress(); on: June 04, 2011, 06:35:38 AM
maybe try 0.3.20. It will honor you 0 BTC transaction fee config setting.

You may also try this: http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=10419.msg150890#msg150890
I recompiled 0.3.21 and it works just fine.
18  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: BTCMine - mining pool (zero fee, long polling, SSL, JSON API) on: May 30, 2011, 01:36:51 PM
OK, well if you aren't going to take it seriously, you can forget my registration. Good luck with your pool.
Why I should take it seriously?
Probably some one said you what spamhaus honest and adequate service?
Ok, I told you: spamhaus service - not adequate and not reliably.
It's a old and boring story about small hosting wars (>5 YEARS OLD).

I signed up to tell you that I am sorry you see it this way. We run a few larger systems and we use Spamcop and Spamhaus for the initial SPAM filtering. You know what, using them will easily block a lot of spam because they are nice enough to keep track of all those home-IPs trying to act as an SMTP server! They also flag IP ranges where SPAM originates because where one SPAM domain exists the next is usually not far behind.

You placed your server into a bad neighborhood on the Internet and now you suffer for it. Ignore it if you think it is the right thing to do but you will lose customers!
