1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LAUNCH] GINcoin | Masternodes platform on: February 27, 2018, 01:31:16 AM
So this is basically the same thing as ARGO?  Huh
(ARGO Ann-thread for comparison: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2834315.0)

If not, how would it differ from ARGO?

I do agree with the Hashrates you are posting, but I do not see any difference between the different memory types on my rig.
How many 1060s are you running with Hynix/Samsung memory?
Hynix 740-745kH/s, Samsung - 780-785 kH/s. Have 6 cards with Samsung and 3 with Hynix, 2 card 1050 Hynix-Samsung give me 410-418, memory does not play any role, 1070 micron - 1170

Thanks for sharing your experiences.

At what clock-speeds (core, memory) are you running your cards on and what TDP-limit have you set?
Mine are currently running at
100% TDP,
+130 Core (~2025MHz),
+0 Memory (~3800MHz).

I am using MSI Afterburner for OC.

I did some more searching and found this reddit post:
https://www.reddit.com/r/paccoin/comments/7oqn0q/cryptopia_pausing_user_sell_orders_confirmed/

Seems like Cryptopia is not able to keep up with the load.
Apparently there was a wall at 2 satoshis, that was not or only briefly visible.
Probably the same one, that is up right now.

I know, it doesn't help the problem, but at least it would explain things.

Glad I found this thread, I am having the exact same problem.

Bought some PacCoins for 1 satoshi around 24h hours ago, right before the sell wall went up. Put in my sell offer at 2 satoshis and went to sleep.
The next day, the wall was almost down, so I waited some more. A few hours later the wall was completely down, and offers began filling at 2 satoshis.
But not my offer, no. I thought I just had to wait a little, so that's what I did, but to no avail. That's when I started thinking that Cryptopia is messing up.

Went to google for help and found out that order matching engines operate on a "first come, first serve" basis.
With the volume at 2 satoshis (I checked the order book), my order should have been filled dozens of times by then, so I decided to give it another shot.
Cancelled the order and put in another one for 2 satoshis. The value of orders at 2 satoshis was very low at that time (< 1BTC), so I was sure it was gonna work this time.
But it didn't...

Volume at 2 satoshis has been way over the sum of orders at that price since I reposted my order.
Now the wall is up again at 1 satoshi.

I am not mad, but quite disappointed, that the system is not working like it is supposed to and so I would also like to know:
Is this really Cryptopias fault, like I think it is, or is it some kind of sorcery Huh

Hi,  what config and miner do i need to setup to mine this on SMOS?

First time mining something other than equihash, also, what will i hash per 1060 gtx card which normally does 300 sols on equihash?

I have 7x GTX 1060 3GB as well. 6 have Samsung memory (Zotac AMP! Core Edition) and one Hynix (Zotac AMP! Edition).

I am getting Hashrates of around 740 - 780 kH/s, independent of memory type (this could be coincidence though, since I only have one card with Hinyx memory).
I am using ccminer/8.17-KlausT.

Unfortunately, I cannot help you with setup of SMOS, since I am running my rig under Windows, which is working flawless so far.

1060 3GB Samsung/Micron - 0.78 Mh/s
1060 3GB Hynix - 0.74 Mh/s

I do agree with the Hashrates you are posting, but I do not see any difference between the different memory types on my rig.
How many 1060s are you running with Hynix/Samsung memory?

Dev I see you are running 1 masternode, but the reward per block is still 10 coins. The question, is which block will start the reward for masternode?

Masternode reward 5 SAROS

masternodes already work
ok this is interesting...but how many coins do i have to hodl in order to be eligible for a masternode?

That information is stated in the first post of this thread:

Masternode Collateral: 1500 SAROS
Masternode Reward: 50%
Block Reward = 10 SAROS
Tx Fee = 0.001
