How to make sure that my node is working? In the wallet masternode debug: successfully started masternode.

I just browsed the "Masternode network" tab and found my ip and port number, so I guess mine is working. It took me like 5 min to find it. I don't know how long it takes to get your first reward though.

My wallet is constantly freezing and crashing. I have tried 2 different and none of them worked. Anyone have any tips on getting it working smoothly?
