Hi everybody!
The collective order buy, which was originally for giant b but ended up being for giant x10 considered the surge in prices of giant b and the dive of crypto at the time of the collective order buy...
It was just a 6 units order. Beginning small.

Thanks a lot for all who trusted and supported me.I will keep you in touch for future orders as all went great with this order.

Bonjour,
https://framapic.org/5K9fRbkaDfBo/YTfpAo0DRWAl.jpg
J'ai cherché sur internet mais personne ne parle de cette prise supplémentaire sur les antminer et à quoi elle pourrait servir?
Merci

9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Bitmain warranty : how can they detect a miner was overclocked on: February 10, 2018, 10:08:41 PM
Hi,
BItmain says no warranty if a asic was overclocked.
How can they detect if it was overclocked or not?
Thank you

Hi,
I have a hashing board that seems not working. I tried to reset the A3 and to check the psu wires but it's the same.
I'm wondering about this cable pins (see image):
https://framapic.org/5K9fRbkaDfBo/YTfpAo0DRWAl.jpg
What do you think this is? Can I unplug one of the flat cable of the other pins and plug it there to try to fix the hasboard?
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / The future of bitcoin incentive in Mining on: February 01, 2018, 12:30:37 PM
Hi everyone,
I am wondering this about the future of bitcoin:
As we all know, bitcoin network security can only be achieved through a lot of mining machines all around the world. The incentive for miners is to get a reward in bitcoin while they provide hashing power.
As bitcoin network is capped to 21 million bitcoin, what will happen when we reach the cap as only a very small inflation is planned to emit new bitcoins then? I mean, what will happen to all these miners who provide a lot of power to secure the network if only a very tiny fraction of bitcoin can be emitted as a reward for them?
If miners who need to provide more and more power to secure the bitcoin network get only tiny fractions of bitcoin as reward when we reach the cap, that would mean the price of bitcoin needs to raise a lot to secure the incentive to mine for miners...In other words, at a certain point, if the price of bitcoin is too low, the miners will go away and the bitcoin network will not last.
What do you think about that?
Thanks for your feedbacks

I'm finally mining.. Tongue
UPS made it in record timing for me ...(faster than usual anyways) I still had to go 20k out of town to pick it up... because they tried to deliver it at 130PM !! -have these guys heard of deliveries AFTER working hours -ie when people are home? If I didn't go, they were going to 'attempt' to deliver it on Monday.
good ol' capital of canuckia.. Tongue Tongue

I cheated the delivery time, by doing this I got an extra £100, maybe it can help you in the future https://youtu.be/K2_W6KqzzgI

What do you mean "I cheated the delivery time"? Did you do something to get fast delivery?
Thanks
The delivery date was Thursday 12 PM. I did not want to wait til then so I picked the parcel up on Wednesday 6:30PM and got an extra 14 hours of mining.
OK nice, how do you do that? you use "UPS My Choice"? you call them to ask for a anticipated pick up at their facility? did you pay an extra to get earlier delivery?

Thanks a lot for your answers, it's helping.
Well now I have another issue, it seems the tab "miner status" doesnt show anything anymore when i click on it...

Is it just the pool isnt configured well or something else? I m a bit worried i harmed the miner by putting the frequency to 750.
Thanks

Go back to your system page and see what it says under hardware version?

Probably just your miner configuration settings are wrong?

Hi,
I  have 2 A3 and I have this issue with both : in system/overview/hardware version it says  "Socket connect failed: Connection refused"
Do you have any idea what i can do?
I tried to set nat/pat config in my router to let port 3333 and 20550 go throug but it doesnt change anything.
I tried to reset the miner, then it works for some time and get back to "   Socket connect failed: Connection refused"
Any idea?
Thanks a lot!

I got this error when i was trying to use MPH. What pool you using?

MPH, Luxor, Siamining, eachpool working well now

16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Where to find reliable global Hashrate figures? on: January 28, 2018, 09:10:57 AM
Usually the most reliable way is to run a core node daemon, e.g. bitcoind and use bitcoin-cli or the GUI debug console to query the network.

Code:
bitcoin-cli getnetworkhashps
bitcoin-cli getmininginfo

Ok thank you. So that would mean running nodes on each coin network I want to monitor?
Someone has any reliable website for quark figures?
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Where to find reliable global Hashrate figures? on: January 27, 2018, 07:41:23 PM
Hi,
Just a quick question: giant x10 is said to mine at 10GH/s on quark.
Yet, on coinwarz (https://lc.cx/gnuu) it says the global total hashrate is between 20 GH/s and 200 GH/s (confirmed on whattomine here https://lc.cx/gnuL). Which means there would be the equivalent of only 1 to 20 giant x10 plugged in and mining quark?!
I am missing something here, wrong with the maths, or is it just that the coinwarz and whattomine figures of total global hashrate on quark are wrong? Any other reliable sources of global hashrate?
Thx

Post your miner configuration here .  Its wrong (most probably) -- Where are you trying to connect to?

Fix the configuration, and it will be fine.

Right, I think i fixed it, i had forgot to put stratum+tcp:// before the miningpool address..

Cheers
