GMiner v1.46 available for download

v1.46
+ added ZelCash Equihash 125,4 algorithm for Nvidia cards

is there an algorithm change on ZelCash? for now its the 144,5 Equihash algo.

the non alpha versions of lolminer had also watchdog, perhaps its again in the 0.7 release.

Any plans on 1060 3gb support for 150,5?
This algo use 4300mb on GPU. Its imbossible.

thats not entirely true, lollidieb (the developer of the official miner) released an openCL version, that is capable of mining with 3GB memory. saw it somewhere in the discord channel some days ago and tried it with some of my HD7970/280x not much hashrate (2,5-5 sol/s), but it works and some people confirmed running it with nvidia cards.

Edit:
found it

@felblob : look current commit - added a switch ^^
but only for all GPUs in system atm ... if some should still run 4G kernel (which is faster if it works) then must run two miners in two cmd windows
@caex:
Maybe try the new build right now created and force 3G kernel use with --force3G ... if you run your monitor on the 4G mining card  the 4G kernel may be too  much bit 3G could work

U have the profit man. we dont.yet:) so your work is like for nothing now
what is wrong with some people, i dont know what your profession is, but how about you work a month or so for free? and why you're expecting developers should charge less or no fee on their products?
i am very happy, that lolliedieb is not charging like 5-10%, i certently would have (with a big FU to all), because this miner is like a monopol on some algorithms for amd cards. he doesnt need to justify what ever fee he is charging.

0.6 alpha 4 runs great at 2 or 4 GPU rigs, thanks  Smiley
but 6 x R9 200 rig is producing lots of not accepted shares (Aion), so I moved it back to 0.5.

Running 3 + 3 GPU-s solved that not accepted shares problem.

hi, here again a test with my old amd cards with the lolMiner 0.6 alpha1, mining anon on 144_5 algo.

the most improvement i got on the old tahiti's ~30-35%, the hawaii (290x / 390x) cards improved about 15-20%
here some "snapshot" numbers after 90 sec of hashing, (3,5,7,9) are tahiti (7970 / 280x) cards.

Device ID   Sol/s new   Sol/s old   Improvement
    0       35,2         29,9       1,177257525
    1       33,8         28,4       1,190140845
    2       34,9         29,6       1,179054054

    9       26,5         19,9       1,331658291

so about 25% bump overall, big thx for your work.

thats not all, its a small sample size, but holy f*** you're beating the current EWBF_ miner (0.6) hashrate on my desktop NVidia card (same OC settings)  Shocked
lolMiner 0.6 alpha is currently peaking at about 92 sol/s:

1080ti with OC settings: +100 core, +600 mem, 100 PL -> 86-90 sol/s

Average speed (20s): 89.8 sol/s

@toyo87 are you seriously trying to mine with a GeForce 940M? As far as i know its a mobile GPU and its always a bad idea to mine on a laptop xD. And i also don't think that lolliedieb (or any other mining coder) should consider to try to include such GPU's Wink

that said, i will try to run the lolminer on this coin and check if it mines, as soon as i find out how to get a wallet and stuff Cheesy

so tried to mine with lolMiner, seems to work just fine. But i would still recommend the EWBF miner for Nvidia cards, for this algo i'm getting about 6 sol/s more with the same OC settings. I think the EWBF miner utilizes somehow more memory, the "Memory Controller Load" section of GPUZ shows about 20% less load with the lolMiner.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: lolMiner 0.5 Equihash Miner, Update: Sep 25th: More Speed & AION Mining on: September 25, 2018, 07:51:55 PM
Thank you for the update Lolliedieb!

Here the stats from a short term test with old cards (all with tweaked memory timings):
I've got like 20% more hashrate with my 290x/390x (Hawaii), they were at 22-26 sol/s before.
Sadly there is only like 5-10% gain (~1-2 sol/s improvement) on the even older 7970/289x (Tahiti) cards, but they still doing their job now at 18-20 sol/s Smiley

Average speed (90s): 30.5 sol/s | 29.5 sol/s | 31.2 sol/s | 20.0 sol/s | 28.6 sol/s | 19.1 sol/s | 28.9 sol/s | 19.8 sol/s | 31.1 sol/s | 18.6 sol/s Total: 257.4 sol/s

I also did try this miner with a 1080 ti but EWBF's miner is still better (same OC settings):
~62 sol/s vs. ~70 sol/s

So good job Cheesy
Hope the stabilty is still as good as before (or better).

I still haven't figured out how to set the api port, tryed command line and the json file (default and coin section). Can you give an json example on how to use it?

Hi dev

please add "ANON" Equihash 144,5  Wink

Thanks

I will do with 0.5 that we will see within next 10 days.
But honestly: there are at the moment only 3 or 4 mining softwares out there supporting Equihash 144/5 and you do not start or fork a coin within 5 days. Why I hear of this project now and no dev tried before if all mining software is compatible? I would not trust such a team...

When version 0.5, I wish for better Equihash 96.5 (Minexcoin) hashrate, I know you can do it.
Maybe look at other miners and how they done the tweaks.
Please keep project alive and well, don't wish for another miner gone bust

Yes, all algorithms for all cards will get a speedup. AMD cards on MNX about 10%, Nvidia slightly more, but there the 0.4x series was pretty bad. I hope to catch up to EWBF Smiley

Please just add support for suprnova's "--pers auto" switch .. no need to specify the personalization and a lot less headaches.. for example on https://anon.suprnova.cc or https://genx.suprnova.cc

For the 144/5 coins that already works, just use coin=AUTO144 ... the format suprnova uses for this is same as for zergpool. I will add this option for 192/7 next version.

This coin is a fork of BTC and ZCL like bitcoin private, called anonymous bitcoin. the anouncement was in may: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3822523.0
The actual fork was on september 10.
Mining works with lolMiner just use the "coin=AUTO144" option. curently mining it myself.

Modded bios on every card (mem timings), slightly overclocked, some cards underperform, due to the lack of good memory timings.

So overall performance is not bad, but i think there is some potential for improvement.
Comparing the old equihash 200,9 hashrates from those cards to a nvidia 1080ti with zhash hashrates (only comparison i can get first hand) we get 400Sol/s from a 390X vs 780Sol/s from a 1080ti. When mining Zhash, we get: 27 Sol/s vs 70 Sol/s for now, mining ethhash would be like 30Mh/s vs 52Mh/s. So the difference between the two cards would be somewhere like < 1:2. I think there are some other algo's with a similar factor between the two cards, so if there is not more potential for like 5-10Sol/s i would be sad.

But for now great work Lolliedieb!
Thats my feedback for old AMD cards (they have still juice Cheesy ), running longterm test with these 10 cards now.

tested today the new miner on a 1080ti, I'm getting ~50 Sol/s with following settings:
80% PL, +100 Core, -500 Mem

tried with +400 Mem -> doesn't change anything.
at more than +100 MHz Core Clock my card gets unstable, i think others can overclock their cards even more
and finaly the Powerlimit is "automaticaly" set, if i set it to 100% GPU-Z shows that the card uses only about 80% TDP

@EWBF_
would be nice if you could look at the intensity settings. (for those who mine on their desktops Smiley )
on the new miner intensity does nothing (or to little)
with the 0.3.4b version i can watch videos with intensity 8 (GPU Load 97%)

edit: yeah some people mentioned intensity Cheesy
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash/BTG AMD GPU Miner v12.6 (Windows/Linux) on: March 15, 2018, 08:06:23 PM
Ok I'm ready to burn my computer.  Someone please help me.  I have a R280X that runs Cryptonite at 485h/s and according to the charts should run Equihash around 290 h/s.  I'm running claymore 12.6 on Slushpool and when the miner starts it does 275h/s.  It then begins to throttle down in steps down to 145 h/s and sometimes lower.  I recently watch it go as low as 40 h/s before climbing back up to 145 h/s.
Does anybody know why the rates are so low, and also the -i and -il commands do nothing to the hashrate.
I'm running the "blockchain" drivers but had the same problem when running AMD 15.2.
Any ideas?
Bob

Which GPU is this exactly?

Most likely your fans are dead or dying and your GPU is throttling.

Then why does it run full guns 485 h/s when mining cryptonite ?  no problem there...only problem is equihash and claymore 12.6

What Is the make and model of your 280x ?

Try using the older 15.12 drivers and set clock to 1050/1500 or so.

I have a few 7970 (280X), I run them at 950 mV, 900/1250MHz, quite stable.

I am also running a few 7970 aka 280x, @1050/1400 1110-1150mV (depends on the specific card) and making with a modded BIOS ~300+ Sol per card. If the -i setting does nothing, then something is wrong on your side, mine 280x' run stable with i 4.
