The transaction fees are certainly a concern  - however that is what Bitcoin Cash was invented for - it can transfer much faster with much less fees - i'm not sure exactly how much fees exactly but it certainly is the more viable option. Or else there are many other coins to adopt with a blockchain which becomes more efficient the more widely its used....Like DeepOnion 

This is an exciting concept as I have family in Tanzania and always root for the African people..Not only will Bitcoin take off in these countries [Nigeria, etc.] - but I already know of grassroots movements for coins like PIVX ! These grassroots movements really push the conversation on the ground floor and lead to faster business adoption.
