1  Other / Beginners & Help / Gamers, I ask your input on: November 22, 2013, 05:11:00 PM
Most you may well already realize that the majority of games, add-ons, DLC, etc. cannot be purchased directly with Bitcoin. Instead you are either forced to use outdated payment methods such as PayPal and cash, or use third party services. The latter could be perfectly acceptable, if they could refrain from adding an extra 20% to the end of the order for "processing".

To solve these problems I would like to connect gamers to content through Bitcoins. No hidden or additional fees, and instant delivery of quality game card codes. But while we are providing this service, we will let the companies know exactly how much they are missing in direct sales by not providing this service themselves. We will reach out, and talk to these companies, try to figure out why they are not accepting Bitcoins, and try to ease their concerns.

The truth is, not only are they depriving their loyal customers, they are missing out on sales. They have an opportunity to connect with a very serious, supportive, and rapidly expanding niche market. Yet for some reason, they refuse, and when businesses do not adapt, they die.

So this initial post is to serve a few purposes, all of which involve finding out for certain what is important to you, the customer. You are the most important part of any of this. That being said:

What games / services would you like to see supported?

What company would you most like to see accept Bitcoin?

What company do you feel would be most likely to accept Bitcoin?

Would you use this service?

What would make you use, or not use, this service?

Should I press forward with this project, I will also be looking for bloggers and live streamers with a focus on Bitcoins and games.
Thank you for reading my post, and thank you for any input you are willing to provide.

-Frank
