1  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why do people feel inferior ? on: August 09, 2018, 02:39:50 AM
I feel inferior because i lack self-confidence, yep, I think it is the main reason why i feel such. Especially when I am around those who are intelligent, confident and liked. I look down to myself at think that I cannot do anything that is good and remarkable. The irony is that, I know the reason but still think of them. On the other hand, when I am with someone I think have inferiority complex, I try to be superior. I uplift myself more and act as superior which is not really right, yeah I know.
2  Other / Off-topic / Re: Some parents can't say no to their children. on: July 09, 2018, 06:30:05 AM
I feel you, I am a teacher and I experience those things first hand. Not only about phones, many of the young children now are very spoiled and are very hard to teach. I believe that parents need to discipline their children first before us. Many working parents couldn't just say no just to shut their children up. I do hope that those parents will learn to say no to their children so they will be disciplined and all.
3  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do rich people get off easier when they break the law? on: June 06, 2018, 08:45:07 PM
That's the advantage of having huge amount of money. They can do whatever they want, go wherever they want and the likes. If something's happens, theere is their money to back them up. I can't even get away with the fact that justice can be bought. How about the victims? What will happen? They won't be receiving the justice they deserve because they don't have money.  Embarrassed Embarrassed
4  Economy / Economics / Re: I almost lost my rock solid regular job because of crypto on: May 30, 2018, 08:58:10 PM

Has anyone else experienced this? I just feel pretty lucky I was given another chance and want to remind other people that having a regular job is much better than relying on the volatility of cryptocurrencies. Make sure you prioritize your work!

Let's love our job regardless of the fact that crypto has been a good financial helper. I have also spent much time in btc but never forgot to do my main source of income. Our jobs are much more stable than cryptocurrencies.
5  Other / Off-topic / Re: Take Showers, Not Baths on: May 25, 2018, 04:16:31 AM
Thanks for this information. In third world countries, families usually take baths because it is cheaper than showers.

We use showers at home and it is truly more environment friendly that bath. It is very alarming to know that there will come a time that showers will be available once or twice a week/month because we don't know how to preserve our water resources.
6  Other / Meta / Re: 100 Days of Merit on: May 22, 2018, 06:55:41 AM
What a thread! The stats were easy to interpret and understand, I wonder why is it that giving sMerits decreased as time goes by in this forum. Maybe because merit givers cannot find any posts that are worthy of their merits..  Grin Grin Is it true?  Grin Grin Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Merit Average
Based on the table below it clearly shows that Newbie and Jr. Member have an average of 3 merits received in the span of 100 days.
It could be assumed that they could easily rank up to a member rank.

Well, i guess i need to wait more that 300 days to rank up. I hope not though.
7  Other / Meta / Re: bitcointalk.org site stats (theymos has better stats) on: May 22, 2018, 06:36:45 AM
Nice stat. Thanks for the information. I was shocked about how much this forum earn in a year. Wow! The owner is really rich by now. Good for him/her/them..
8  Other / Meta / Re: People might sell they're merit points. on: May 21, 2018, 06:28:39 AM
So I think this merit mechanism is unfair, because it would allow those legendary or heroic users to profit from the merit mechanisms, and not to upgrade those who can not afford it.

I'm definitely coming from the opposite perspective here, as being here on these forums for a while and finally reaching a high ranking. However, I don't think this system is particularly unfair. Those who have merit will not be selling it; hero and legendary members at this point in time know better than to sell their merit. Even if it is being sold, it ends up being pretty obvious because all you need to do is look at the suspects posts and who merited them.

There's nothing about affording here; merit is not a form of money. It's (I guess) just another way of protecting the forum from spammers who are just trying to get into sig campaigns.

I agree. I don't think hero and legendary members will sell their merits, they aren't that stupid. They have earned everything in a very fair and just way, doing this will ruin their reputation. Also, these high ranking members (I think) doesn't need to sell their merits since they have enough money coming from the forum and other forms of bounties. Selling merits is just a petty thing to do.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The three main concerns I have about bitcoin on: May 21, 2018, 12:57:54 AM
We all have our concerns regarding bitcoin. We just have to do is to be as careful as possible especially when trading and mining. Keep something for yourself as well and invest properly.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I never sold my First bitcoin. Are you also emotionally bound to bitcoin? on: May 16, 2018, 03:29:54 AM
Not really, i am not that emotionally attached to my bitcoins. Maybe because I really needed those.. Lol..
11  Other / Meta / Re: Theymos Doesn't love the Forum Anymore ?? !!!!! on: May 06, 2018, 03:35:50 PM
You're being unfair and judgmental. You are only looking on the other side of the coin. I am pretty sure theymos is still overseeing the forum. He might be laughing at you now because of your post.
12  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you want to create your own state? on: May 06, 2018, 02:58:25 PM
Quite idealist. What will happen to the ones whose IQ is below your standard?

Well, that's your opinion anyway.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to Shut Up Bitcoin Haters on: May 06, 2018, 02:42:39 PM
When the first time learned about bitcoin and encouraged to research about it, i was in doubt if I will tell it to my husband and family members. I didn't want to tell them unless I have proven its worth. When the first time I received my tokens in the bounties I joined, that was the time I told BTC to them since I have my proof.

Now, for me, if you really want to shut them up, slap your proof to their face at tell them out loud how BTC helps you in your daily living. If they still don't believe, better stop convincing them, continue what you are doing. It is not your lost anyway.

15  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you keep yourself from spending on unimportant things? on: May 04, 2018, 05:05:46 AM
Yup, honestly. I also experience this and it makes me so angry to myself. I try very hard to refuse on buying things unnecessary or those things I only want. However, whenever I go to a mall and see something I like, I cannot refuse but to buy. So to correct this, I see to it that my money is only enough for the things I should do and buy. I don't get extra money so I cannot buy anything.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a good investment? on: May 03, 2018, 07:45:27 AM
I think it is a good investment as long as you don't need that much money and you're not in a hurry. You'll need property strategy and timing for you to get the fruit of your investment. There are many people who invest in bitcoins these days.

18  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: how you will tell if the Campaign is scam ? on: May 03, 2018, 04:46:59 AM
I always use

Fourth Duration Website quality

If the site is poorly made, many bugs in the interface, poor graphics, then either it is made for illusion, or team has not normal programmers. Both options, of course, are not a good sign.

This is very helpful i also always check the quality of their website before entering their Bounty Campaign.
I also do this. If I am not really attracted to the thread of the bounty I hit the back button and look for other bounties that attract me most.

Thanks for this information though. I will look better so I won't bump into scam bounties and my efforts won't be useless but be properly paid instead.
19  Other / Meta / Re: Legendary profiles of bitcointalk. on: May 03, 2018, 03:24:33 AM
This is very interesting, it could also be included in the history of bitcoin, especially that guy who bought 2 pizzas for 10,00-0 btc.. Cool!
