Back in December I did a 5TH rental and found one almost immediately after clicking the button.

I do have a small operation of my own stuff that never does anything, 2 x S3+'s and a Terraminer IV.  Never seem to break 1B on the share, been running those for about 3 months.

2% or more.  Why not?  Surprised it's not at that level now.  2% fiat of 25 BTC is about $210 right now.  That's small change to the person who solves the block.   And we're only hitting around 2-4 a month now.

I've solved one block here and donated back more than 2% just because that's just the way I see things.  The cost of VPS, DDoS protection, and especially CK's time - only makes sense.  I have a full node running just to support the network and it costs me about $125 a month.  And I do barely anything to keep it running except for maybe 20-30 minutes a month of maintenance and patches and shit..  I used to solo mine all by myself and it is work to keep things running and rent the infrastructure to do so.  I could solo mine myself off of that node, but I'd rather do it somewhere else and not worry about it.

Running an S4 with latest firmware - runs fine for about 48 hours and then stops -  Still on network, LCD shows its hashing, IP is still the same.  I can hit it with ssh but the root password isn't working, and can hit it with the web gui and password is not working.  Reboot.  Same symptoms.  Reset to factory defaults, I can get in, change back to what it should be.  Runs fine for about 48 hours and then I can't login again.  Repeat...  This has been happening for about 10 days now.

Wow... Still in shock at this point.  Blessed is more like it..  Damn...

I started about 2 years ago with a BFL Jalapeno and a few of the old 333Mhz sticks, then got an Avalon that did 180GHs, sold it 2 weeks later for a profit.  Mostly did pool mining and then changed over to GPU altcoins for the past year or so.  Started back up with SHA256 in October of this year with around 6TH, solo for about a month, and then moved everything over to CKpool..  Had a Spondoolies 30 which sucked and sold it and kept the S3's and the Terraminer.

Bought an Antminer S4 off of ebay about 2 weeks ago and still waiting for it to show.

And a flipping 5TH rental pulls it off...  So 2 years later I reach a little over a breakeven point if I factor in hardware and electricity
