[16/1 14:20] Amero + Carlos Mencia: Excuse me, as last night we had a problem when we were about to re-launch the page and until now we are not able to solve that but we are sure that we will find the solution in the the day.
We thought we would have a statement this afternoon but it seems better to take this opportunity to prepare them for the changes we have been working on.
ICO: With the directory we decided to suspend the ICO. While it is true that we need these funds to grow the currency, we are confident that the currency can grow on its own and that the funds collected during the Pre-ICO are enough to cover the cost of listing in a Tier 2 exchange and start from there to grow up to take the place we want within the most important and renowned exchanges.
VERSION 2 - Changes in Total Supply: For the new version we decided to reduce Total Supply from 78,400,000 to 15,000,000, this will directly influence the price of the currency. By decreasing to less than 1/5 the total supply we also have to decrease the Circulating Supply to 1/5. That means that each of you will see your current balance reduced to 1/5 of the previous balance. I hope you understand that this is a positive change for the currency. Although they will have less ameros, they will be able to ask for more money in exchange for those ameros once we are listed in an exchange.
Version 2 - New Website: ameroplus.org will continue online for a few more days until the migration to the two new pages that are still in process (90% completed), in these new pages (Spanish, English and Portuguese) is completed they will be able to consult their new reduced balances according to the new total supply, make the request of the cards and know the services that we are going to offer (transfers / masternodes hosting / web pos / payment gateways / merchant list.
MiAmero.com is 80% finished, there are very few details that are going to be corrected during the day.
MINING: I think this is the point that most interests everyone in the group, mining starts on 25/01, we are a week away from starting Amero again.
ROADMAP: I found out that there is a "hacker" who will send us a virus because we do not have a defined roadmap :sweat_smile:.

-Launch of the new MiAmero.com pages and the pages in English and Portuguese.

Week 22 to January 28:
- launch of the new blockchain and start of the mining / masternodes process (25/01)
- launch of GUI wallets for Windows and Linux (mac can wait)
Week January 29 to February 4:
- launch of Amero Global (contest of initiatives for the implementation of Ameros as a method of payment in different services)
- Launch of 4 online stores for purchase of various articles, Amazon, games and more services that will be added.
Week from February 5 to 11:
- Listing in the first exchange, start of trading activities.
Second half of February:
- launch of the Android App (wallet and PoS)
- Start of campaign at regional level to encourage the acceptance of Ameros as payment method.
I understand that in deciding to suspend the ICO we are reducing our capacity for growth in the short term but I am sure that with that and with the changes in the total supply we will show that this is a currency that will become the reference currency for Latin America, a real coin and not an altcoin more.
