quick question, what are the best CPUs to mine this coin? AMD/Intel? higher speed or more cores? how much memory is needed in a rig?
is there an article anywhere which describes rig requirements for Monero?

I prefer the moody black and gray because of the subtleties. The orange and black have too much stark contrast. Looks tacky imho.
+1 +1 dark and moody looks nice and has great symbolism in it!

1st time for me to actually post here, but reading the thread it looks like community should really organize around AnonCoin. For me it looks like some form of committee to decide a way forward could be an idea - a single person should never be a single point of contact.
AnonCoin for me is absolutely unique which is it's strongest point. The fact devs are committed to doing it's thing is also it's strength as this is how it should be.
Some PR would definitely be a good, I'm not saying go ballistic Doge style but rather focus on coins strengths and let people know about it.
Looking at some other coins and watching how they deal with it could bring some ideas. I'm watching WorldCoin closely and the way WDC Alliance has been formed and is pushing forward is quite remarkable.

^^ Guys, do you need to install/re-compile cgminer to mine vertcoins? I'm on BAMT same as above and would like to try it but I'm not sure if it's just config change in cgminer's config file or I need another cgminer version... or I need different BAMT? ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) newer versions on BAMT support scrypt N and have like 4 versions of CGminer i think you need Version 1.6 thanks! I will try BAMT 1.6 and see how that goes

Hi All Is there any reason why payouts are so low for the last few days? Hashrate is same for me, rejects are very low (sub 1%) but payouts went down from 0.5 - 0.7 to 0.4 - 0.5 and for the last two days I had 0.029 and 0.015 ![Angry](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/angry.gif) Mining on eu.waffle with diff 512 Not sure if it's temporary or I should be looking for a different pool.

|
|
What is going on with eu server. Reject rate rised from average 0.5% to 10-20% and even more. Lot of stales, lot of duplicates, lot of job not found... etc... Problem is in server end, not my rigs (only 8MH/s now on waffle) Specially it looks that this is with some coin. Previously I have not find this with waffle.
Had the exactly same thing with 3 of my rigs, went back to a more stable pool. same thing here, it definitely has some problems

Worldcoin of course ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Is anyone getting answers here? Seems like a lot of questions and not a whole lot of responses
It's sort of like trying to contact BFL :-) Yeah lol Oh well, I use BTC-e but I'm just gonna use the meta trader as an analysis tool for now, like I'm sure most people are doing How can I demo this thing? The link here https://btc-e.com/profile#meta_trader doesn't work for me? Is the only way to try it with a live account? If I understand correctly, the minimum deposit is only 0.01$? Also does btc-e have a referral program like most of the other exchanges? Use this and click on the link in the news, you need to be singed in to get access. https://btc-e.com/news/172You can create demo account. I believe it's correct for real accounts - 0.01$ is the minimum No idea on referral program.

Download the latest client, but out of sync, how to deal with it? TKS.
Check connection. Add blockexplorer as node: addnode= 66.228.60.13(Edit file: stablecoin.conf) Sorry for my stupid question. What to type in stablecoin.conf file and how to addnode? any detailed infor? Thank you No stupid questions, we all need to learn ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Just create the stablecoin.conf file (if you don't have one, if you do just add the extra line in the file) and in the file add the line posted above, exactly as it is: addnode=66.228.60.13 Adding this line of text will do all you need. Make sure to restart the wallet after you've modified the conf file.

It's been a while since the last post in here. I'm interested in using MT4 for BTC trading but I'm not sure if it's working.
Any news guys? How is it (if at all) doing?

New f*D Certified Crypto-Cards (paper wallets) in stock! Worldcoin is supported! ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FKbjYs3d.jpg%3F1&t=663&c=f4jMzXGUUTGkug) I really like the idea, but for crypto supporting business it's a bit awkward payments are only accepted in USD ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif) Any plans for accepting our coins as a payment option? Also the silver coins are insanely expensive at $200 each (if I read it correctly and this is price for 1 coin) ![Shocked](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/shocked.gif)

I believe it's just the opposite, based on the net hash it should be 1-1.5 but due to diff issue it doesn't go down as is capped at 7.4 until block 317000. Based on 24h reward estimates on pools it certainly looks like people are getting number of coins based on 7.4 diff.

So I sent some WDC to my Cryptsy account, and the transaction hasn't been confirmed, not even in the wallet. (0 confirmations). I did this about an hour ago and nothing yet...
check your transaction in block explorer http://wdc.cryptocoinexplorer.com/

When I learned about the fork I stopped mining. And maybe for the best. I was mining at stablecoin.miners-pool.eu but the difficulty they report vs my wallet is way off, so I guess i'll change pool to be sure:)
I was on the same pool - it looks like it has not been updated to 1.4, note even mentioning 1.5 + no contact details for pool owner I moved to sbc.nordicminers.eu which runs stable and has already been upgraded to 1.5
|
|
|
I've passed the news to http://sbc.nordicminers.euThe sad truth is there are still pools running on the wrong "prior to 1.4" chain out there with quite a few people mining completely worthless shares ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif) One I have in mind doesn't even have contact details for the pool owner. Another fork now, while necessary and I understand that, will add to the overall confusion Thanks for the update artos
