mammix2 you need to report on the progress!
|
|
|
I had some issues with the server hardware this is running on. its back online now, but will need to be fully re-synced
Can we have weekly reports on the progress?
|
|
|
That's really good news. Let us know what we can do as long term coin supporters.

Yes, mammix, please address the issue. I think it's time to get MAIA back on tracks.
Ok, im on it... Is everything okay now?
|
|
|
Thanks As i want to follow the development on BoostCoin, there is some issues with BTC38 and the network which we're working through, once that is all sorted MAIA will be brought in line
Is there anything I can help with? I'm also sure there will be other users willing to assist!

Any news? Dev, we won't let you go.

How about an Android/iOS light wallet for MAIA? I would like to test if needed on a jailbroken iPad and/or HTC One

Hey, i've been working on aligning both MAIA and BOST in terms of development progresses. I haven't got a detailed plan just yet but here are some bullet points of developments, which are more focused on security...
- Alignment of MaiaCoin and BoostCoin development stages. - New Chain parameters to help secure against malicious attacks - New more diverse nodes - New block explorer hosted within the bost.link framework - BlockNet xBridge integration which will bridge both BOST and MAIA communities. - Side lining the mixer developments as this doesn't seem to be wanted - Permanent Tor integration, focusing more as a usable proxy ontop of the obscurity it offers - Android wallet - more to TBA
How's the progress? I think we need to do some marketing for MAIA, the coin remains completely unnoticed despite all the work you did and all the attention BOST received (including Chinese exchanges support)

Hey mammix, could you update us on your plans? We're not going to forget MaiaCoin

Hey monopodman
I have no intention of ruining my reputation or abandoning this. Like i said before i will continue to support the network. I have already spoken to BTC38 a number of times about listing MAIA but they want to see more community activity before considering it. I tried to re-ignite the community interest at the end of 2014 buy adding some new features, a new mining phase, and paying for listing on Comkort and Empoex. But it is clear by the amount of trading that there wasn't much interest. As promised i will always support MAIA for as long as it takes. Maybe in the future a new opportunity will come up that will allow the community to grow again.
Cheers M
So could you explain why we (MAIA supporters) are worse than BOST community? I mined MAIA from the beginning (2 phases) and traded it actively on Bittrex, broke even by selling some and spent it all to support the coin on bittrex until it got delisted. WTF?

What was the point of spending so much time on this project and then abandoning it?
Please dev don't ruin your reputation and do what you promised – support your coin. Dev first. Community support only comes if dev is active.

Are you planning anything? It's been a long time since November (almost 6 months)

the question is: why would btc38 list a dead coin (in terms of trading)? If you check Comkort for example, you'll see that there is no volume. neither for Maia/BTC or Maia/LTC. So why would btc38 list it? they wanna make money, and they only make money if there is a decent volume.
Easy: MAIA is interesting because of mammix2 and what he does. MAIA doesn't have trade volume today, but it may change tomorrow And if you check Comkort for example, nothing has any volume there, so it doesn't mean anything.

|
|
In fact, I have a suggestion for mammix2.
If you're having hard time putting a coin on a decent exchange, then make a decentralised MAIA/BTC exchange on the blockchain! Right in MAIA wallet! I think there're similar projects going on, so no need to start from scratch.

good we are almost on a market. Comkort opens
But nobody trades on Comkort. They have 0.37btc / day volume.

I like giveaways!

so you guys are okay with c-cex? I was hoping for a better exchange than that. That exchange was already hacked once, there's no freaking way I'm gonna put my coins there no matter how fast their support reacts (really, is that even an argument?). I only trust cryptsy or btc38 today
