1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin may not be number one for long on: November 27, 2017, 07:57:18 PM
As of now i cant see an altcoin can surpass bitcoin in the near future.
Despite bitcoin lacking features which other altcoins has it will still thrive for long time since most of the cryptocurrencies values it more as compared to other altcoins.
Let us remember that price of coins qill be greatly affected by the demand from users.  And as of now the demand for bitcoin is great.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are my sending fees so high? on: November 27, 2017, 07:21:21 PM
Regular fee for a transaction is 14,5 USD which is really expensive and not everyone can afford that.
Even when you try to use a customized fee, blockchain.info informs you that the recommended fee is 500sat/b meaning 7$.
If you will use a lower fee your transaction probably will not get confirmed and it will join the list of more than 126k unconfirmed transaction.
I hope this situation will not last long or it will harm the crypto world.

Through fuel efficiency will result in carbon mitigated emission. That would be great. We will be having a cleaner air to breath then plus turning those harmful wastes that could possibly contribute to pollution's into a useful energy will be a record breaking change done ever.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] TenX: Making Blockchain assets spendable on: November 27, 2017, 06:33:46 PM
The only reason that we have not touched it to this point is because of the banking license.  That means that this has left decentralized currency behind and is not part of this world anymore, it belongs up there with paypal and the others.  That does not make it a bad thing, simply something that the government can readily seize, demand records for and control and that is not what traders are looking for.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Bitcoin will survive after 100 year ? on: November 27, 2017, 06:22:46 PM
Well we are all still clueless on what may happen with bitcoin in the future but as we take a look on what's happening with bitcoin right now, we will be able to say that it will last up until after 100 years. The credibility and invulnerability of bitcoin makes it more likely to survive the future obstacles that it may meet on the way so we should just had faith with bitcoin. Everything will surely be settled properly with bitcoin in the future.

I use both online and desktop wallet to store my coin. i store coin that i intend to keep for a long period of time on desktop wallet. i store my bitcoin on electrum wallet. while i store coin i intend to keep for short time on blockchain wallet. i like blockchain because when I am sending bitcoin the fees is low compare to electrum wallet but the desktop feel safer for me and there is privacy.
You should try trezor because it is secure, private keys are generated offline. The attacker cannot access the funds because trezor also generate 24 word seed upon set up and passphrase can be added on it, but if passphrase is forgotten it cannot be recovered. Its good to save big amount of bitcoin.
7  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bit coin hit 25000 USD on: November 27, 2017, 05:48:39 PM
It is really hard to have that kind of prediction like what happened last year when it was below 1000$ no one expected that it will go this high as they were only expecting that it will go back up to the 1000$ level. Bitcoin is unpredictable and there is no sure answer for your question. You have this kinds of targets or expectations but it is really hard to expect on something that is volatile so my suggestion for you is to always monitor the prices rather than hold and sit tight on it and treat it like an investment.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do not support bitcoin cash on: November 27, 2017, 05:43:58 PM
I do understand that it is a fork from BTC, therefore it is a part of the same currency with it's own characteristics. Of course nothing will change the fact that BTC is the main currency and will always have it's own value more than any other coin will appear in the near future.

What I don't like about BCH crew is the way they are marketing for their new product. Roger Ver is very defensive and absolutely not professional when representing in the media. Competition is absolutely accepted however trying to steal a brand signature or name is not right. I am investing in both BTC and BCH however I am confident that BTC and ETH will always remain as the leaders in this technology.
9  Economy / Economics / Re: Investments outside crypto on: November 27, 2017, 05:37:33 PM
Bitcoin being a very secure crypto currency, I do not think there is a better infestation other than crypto currency investment. Maybe gold could be a choice of physical investment that interests outside of crypto. But infestations outside of crypto are not so comfortable as crypto. Physical investment must be an intermediary that will make it more difficult to run it. Also today crypto currency has a very high value. If you have to choose, of course I will choose crypto for long-term investment. You can see 30 years ahead I think crypto will have a very high selling value
10  Other / Off-topic / Re: What are some disadvantages of BTC? on: November 27, 2017, 04:37:34 AM
For most of people bitcoin being anonymous is an advantage. But for police this is a big disadvantage ,maybe the biggest one. People can buy drugs, fake identities, prostitutes and all kinds of illegal things with bitcoin. Yes, you can buy that with real money but that would be a lot easier to discover.
The big fees for low transactions(lower than 20$) are also a disadvantage. Bitcoin cannot be used to buy things like a coffee or a sandwich because you would pay double or triple of the normal price.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Criminality and Bitcoin on: November 27, 2017, 04:31:51 AM
Bitcoin can increase the rate of criminality in a country or community because as you can see that the bitcoin is anonymous and the people can take advantage of that to use it to transact different illegal things without getting noticed by the authorities. Bitcoin is decentralized so it is very risky for the authorities to fully trust bitcoin since it has a disadvantage.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is Satoshi Nakamoto? on: November 27, 2017, 04:23:22 AM
Most likely "satoshi" is a name given for the "founder of btc" by the real creators, whoever they may be.  This way the attention is constantly focused on this one "mystery man" and not on the real people behind btc.  Also, I cant imagine one person would be willing to just keep all his millions of $ worth of btc, and leave them untouched.  Seems like the group in control of them wants to keep them untouched, so as not to hurt the fragile btc economy right now.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can cryptocurrency make real money disappear? on: November 27, 2017, 04:19:18 AM
Recently, more and more representatives of the official authorities of various states and businesses recognize that the crypto currency starts to displace the usual currency in carrying out various financial transactions. However, in my opinion, this will concern the banking sphere, the sphere of business, mutual settlements between individuals and legal entities, and also only in certain part of payments for goods and services in our daily life. In addition, this process will be very time-consuming and will take many decades. In general, I do not think that the crypto currency in the foreseeable future will completely replace the currency fiat.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ☘☘☘☘ Edgeless EDG Tokens On Liqui.io(BLACKJACK BETA LIVE)☘☘☘☘ on: November 27, 2017, 04:08:05 AM
The price is quite cheap to own this token and this is a good chance to buy more EDG tokens I believe that EDG will hit 3$ in next month . The rumor of license is not to worry that's a way to collect cheap coins from the whales . I really feel sorry for who sold this token at this price and it seems as a waste of money from weak hands . Stay awake before it's too late : That's a very good and potential coin in gambling field.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Airdrop] ntwk Token - The Awareness Project eLearning Platform on: November 27, 2017, 04:03:38 AM

16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥[ETT]EncryptoTel: Secure VoIP and B2B blockchain communications infrastructure on: November 27, 2017, 03:57:57 AM
I guess many were too happy buying at below ICO price and nowadays it is much better to buy after the ICO in exchanges were the coin was listed i am disappointed in my investments it is not worth the ico even it has a bonus to compare with the prices in exchanges.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Interstellar Holdings (HOLD) POS/POW COIN WITH PURPOSE! SCRYPT/HIGH APR on: November 27, 2017, 03:54:10 AM
You are also not considering that you will not receive staking rewards near the end of each level because not all of your blocks would be matured then thus falling back or forward and not compounding. You are assuming a staking reward each minute, and the blocks dont work that way.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum: Good alt or stay away? on: November 27, 2017, 02:23:47 AM
Ethereum is number one coin in altcoin after BTC and it is in top 10 in marketcap. ETH is a must for apply to new ICOs as approx all ICOs using ERC20 token which require eth wallet and best is the myetherwallet. You have to save your private key to a safer place as if you lost that, you cannot do anything in your account.
19  Economy / Economics / Re: The dream of getting rich with bitcoins on: November 27, 2017, 12:31:41 AM
It seems to me that today you can lose even more money if you start investing in Bitcoin at today's price. Of course, if we believe in the future and prospects for the next few years, I think that any investment will pay off with interest.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The advantages of bitcoin on: November 25, 2017, 01:39:35 AM
With Bitcoin it is very possible to be able to send and get money anywhere in the world at any given time.
You don’t have to worry about crossing borders, rescheduling for bank holidays, or any other limitations one might think will occur when transferring money.
You are in control of your money with Bitcoin. There is no central authority figure in the Bitcoin network.and its value that increases everyday.
