ICX is still an ERC-token. The swapping to their own ICX tokens will be implemented through their own ICONex wallet or the exchange where you bought your ICX (erc-token).
The swap is waiting for the moment the exchanges are able to trade those new ICX tokens so the swap can start at the same time. The swap will last for 3 months.

Do you have a source for this? As far as I know all EOS tokens have to be registered.
I think the EOS site is not that user-friendly for this matter.

Agree! Still under the radar but that's ok and that could be an advantage compared to other projects. I believe this project is and will be a good investment!

Despite all the negative news from and imo caused by the bitgrail-affaire I think this is a project with  a lot of potential.

Indeed a great project. Just not that much hype about it but that's ok.
