Get BNB and join the launchpad and launchpools. Quick and easy money and BNB keeps rising because Binance burns BNB tokens as well besides the increased interest.

I'm impressed with the delgated harvesting yields of symbol compared to XEM.

The block bonus rewards really add up at this moment. Might be due to limited harvesting nodes/delegated stakers?

3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk!! A name behind another scam on: March 18, 2021, 09:14:36 AM
I wonder what about doubling your money up to 1 million USD doesn't sound fishy at all?
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM (XEM) Official Thread - 100% New Code - Easy To Use APIs on: March 12, 2021, 04:03:18 PM
History tells us the more people start spreading FUD, the more likely it is that the price will increase Smiley

All in all I would say the dump of NEM isn't even that bad considering other coins which split 1:1. Current valuation means people consider XEM and XYM about equal if we compare current price vs peak price last week.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM (XEM) Official Thread - 100% New Code - Easy To Use APIs on: February 22, 2021, 09:24:03 PM
Big announcement tomorrow!

Launch date confirmed tomorrow?

How is information that is accessible to the public insider information? You have to realize this ANN thread is not the main source of information anymore.

Personally, I couldn't care less about moving the snapshot date. I have been patient long enough. Sounds like you are just looking to dump your XEM ASAP after the snapshot and you can't wait to reallocate it into other coins.
7  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are people buying BTC @ $27000+ idiots? on: December 31, 2020, 10:38:51 AM
The more mature a market becomes the "safer" it is to enter. People that thought the market was not ready at 4k may think its good to go in now.

This is what you see with the big institutions as well. They need liquidity to put their massive funds into it. The higher the price, the more room there is to buy big.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Litecoin - a lite version of Bitcoin. Launched! on: December 25, 2020, 04:18:24 PM
It's not like these ann posts matter much anymore these days.. Most coins have their own websites and forums or telegram/discord/etc for information.
9  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin whales selling to institutions as Grayscale adds 7,188 BTC in 24 hours on: December 07, 2020, 01:24:05 PM
So we,as Bitcoin supporters have to rely on a few big companies and trust funds like Grayscale to pump the Bitcoin price by increasing the overall demand for BTC? Sad
Is this supposed to be a positive sign? What if funds like Grayscale start selling BTC?The price will probably go back to 6K USD in no time.I know that Grayscale is buying BTC mostly for long term HODLing, but we can't predict how this company will react to the BTC market and what will happen,if Garayscale has new shareholders, who aren't Bitcoin maximalists.
I'm still waiting for mass Bitcoin adoption and the creation of a BTC market, that would be almost free(100% freedom is impossible)of the influence that institutional investors and crypto whales have over the price.

Part of mass adoption is big companies and institutions jumping in. You can't expect them to all wait until you hit your price target and have them buy your coins from you at that price right? They will always have a big influence just because of their massive size.
These funds will not be selling and dumping the price back to 6k as bitcoin is basically their business model. If the shareholders want to get out, they will have to sell their shares to other interested people.
10  Economy / Speculation / Re: Seems like the bullrun is over this year! on: December 07, 2020, 01:14:07 PM
I wouldn't mind a nice retrace back to 16k or so by January 1st. After that it can go full bullmode and blast those targets. Saves me some in taxes Wink
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM (XEM) Official Thread - 100% New Code - Easy To Use APIs on: December 04, 2020, 03:01:17 PM
As per the announcement on the NEM forums:

"The team have approached all the major exchanges who list XEM currently and provided information and offered to answer any questions etc related to integration of XYM and supporting the Opt In for their customers."

NEM team has reached out. Reaching out the exchanges yourself can help in showing how much users want it.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM (XEM) Official Thread - 100% New Code - Easy To Use APIs on: December 02, 2020, 07:56:31 AM
I'm extremely excited about the symbol launch! We've all been waiting for a long time, but I still think it's better to release a great product later then a mediocre product earlier. Also, the timing will coincide perfectly with the next bull phase, which will massively help adoption and influx of new people.
13  Economy / Speculation / Re: Nearly $ 100 million worth of Bitcoin stolen from the 2016 Bitfinex hack has jus on: December 02, 2020, 07:45:16 AM
Well it is totally understandable that it is moving now.... back in 2017 when we had the previous all-time-high price, things was still a little "hot" for the hackers to move those coins... so they most probably thought they would wait until the dust settled and then they would start selling the coins when the spotlight are not on them.

The latest spike in the price must have been the trigger for their decision to move those coins... or they did a bit more research into what methods would be safe to move those coins. (Testing different Mixer services with criminal activities to see which of them are reporting to the law enforcement agencies)

I hope they make some mistakes and that they would get caught!

I don't really think that these coins will ever stop being "hot". With all the automated tools to follow every large transaction and coins that are linked to hacks, it will trigger warnings instantly.
14  Economy / Speculation / Re: Congrats to everyone for reaching $20k again. on: November 18, 2020, 06:55:43 AM
As this run is not driven by retail investors I think there won't be as brutal of a shakeout. As long as demand from big investors remain big, the small fish that get scared will hardly dent the buying pressure.

Some corrections will be inevitable, but currently the inflow of cash is just so big that it may not be as panicky as we have seen in the past.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to KittieFIGHT (KTY) old token holder on: November 11, 2020, 02:26:26 PM
Maybe the name of the token could have been an indication of how things whould be handled later on..

Sucks though, hope it doesn't hurt your crypto portfolio too much.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your Portfolio before and after the pandemic on: October 19, 2020, 01:28:44 PM
I moved 90% of my regular investment funds to crypto due to the pandemic. Hasn't made a big difference yet, but I'm expecting a huge crypto bull run soon and a massive stock market crash when the stimulus funds run out.
17  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Faucets - Do people still use it, and are they worthwhile? on: August 03, 2020, 06:51:58 AM
Even at current prices the faucets that I tried in 2013 were not worth it.

Payout is just too low, even if you can automate hundreds of them. Remember, the website needs to earn more from ads than they give you.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should we invest in a bitcoin exchange? on: June 19, 2020, 09:58:23 AM
That would basically be throwing away 10.000 USD and asking for legal problems.

Running an exchange is not a one man operation. You need a cyber security team, automated deposit/withdrawel systems, you need marketing (how else will you get people on your exchange?), probably a lot of cash to fund promotions to even get people trading there to get enough volume.

Ask yourself: Why would anyone trade on your platform? It would have to be better then the large and established exchanges or offer more (e.g. lower fees).
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Kraken CEO: Bitcoin Would Be Worth $1,000,000,000,000 If the Masses Knew the Pow on: June 03, 2020, 10:59:13 AM
He also mentions it means that the USD will be basically worthless at that point. So yeah, in that case a price like that would be possible.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Taxes on Bitcoins: Unreasonable or essential? on: June 02, 2020, 06:32:40 AM
In The Netherlands you are currently paying taxes in the same way you would when you would hold an equivalent in euros. Result is that any amount above 30k euro value (this includes all your euros, regular stocks and crypto).

Below the line you pay for the first 70k above 30k 0.54% tax, then for the next 930k you pay 1.26% and anything above 1M euro value you pay 1.58% tax.

Sounds reasonable to me, mostly because it is similar to how euro holdings are handled.
