I did download 3.7 and extracted it to the miners folder for multiminer v2.

I just tried BFGMiner with those arguments, and well... only one erupter works. Here's the crash log for MultiMiner v2... See the end of this message for details on invoking just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

I don't use any arguments with BFGMiner 3.6 (I just run it, and add the devices myself erupter:all). After that I have it set for Balanced, 256 workload, 2 GPU threads, with a 6 intensity. I've tried MultiMiner 2 and it crashes on my end. This is what I'm getting for the Process Log -I D --scan-serial all --scan-serial opencl:auto -o coinotron.com:8322 -u USERNAME-p PASSWORD -d 0 -d 1 --api-listen --api-port 4029 --api-allow W:127.0.0.1, -T Just for reference, I *DID* blank out my username and password.

I posted this is the support forum, and apologize for double posting. After almost 90 views and no replies I'm taking some measures.
MultiMiner detects my block erupters, but only utilizes one of the two. BFGMiner by itself will run both, so MultiMiner not running both is baffling. I've had them hooked up into my front USB ports, with success, and my USB3 ports on my motherboard directly, also with success.
I've tried both ICA and BES devices under the settings, both worth fine (well, with the one that's hashing).
Any suggestions?

BFGMiner picks up and uses my block erupters, however, MultiMiner sees them, and uses one of them. My erupters are connected straight into my motherboard into my USB3 ports. Any suggestions?

Look, I don't always do what I'm told.

Essentially, you replace the fans and heatsinks on your video cards for water blocks. Those water blocks are attached with hoses leading to a reservoir and radiator to keep the liquid cool. There's a little bit of maintenance by adding the coolant, but it'll keep those cards frosty cool.

|
|
Why not switch over to water cooling?

I'm not saying you're wrong, but the Linux version of BFGMiner uses my processors on my netbook.

The calculator shows the difference for when the difficulty rises (it's on the right side), so this isn't an accurate calculator? Any recommendations on profit calculators?

Everything is running fine... sort of. I've got my 330Mh/s USB Erupter working, my GeForce GTX 560 Ti is working, and even though it's kind of pointless, it's not detecting my processor (Intel i3-3240). I'd like to be able to use everything I have for hashing, just to speed up mining. Ideas?

I may be looking at the wrong calculator (the one provided on slush's pool), but with 100Gh/s that's roughly $2,100 /mo. for the current difficulty. Is this not correct, or am I looking at it wrong?

Any recommendations on backplanes / blades?

I use to play the stock market, and the idea has crossed my mind to purchase a BTC.

So, I'm new to BTC mining, I've only been doing it for three days. I've been using my GeForce GTX 560 Ti and I purchased a block erupter off of Amazon. I'm currently hashing at around 420Mh/s and would love more hashing power.
I've got a maximum budget of $1,000 for hardware, and cloud based services aren't an option. Are there any recommendations on hardware that could potentially pay for itself in 1-2 months with a good ROI? All the hardware I've seen is extremely expensive, preorder, etc.

I'm completely new to BTC mining. I'm quite fond of BFGMiner overall, however, on Windows, it has some strange behavior, which someone may be able to clear up.
1.) It doesn't detect my CPU (Intel i3-3240) at all. When I go into Manage Devices, and add all, I get a libusb_error_not_supported. This doesn't affect anything, as it still picks up my USB Block Erupter and my GeForce GTX 560 Ti. Which leads into...
2.) My video card is showing two threads, but one of those threads is paused. I'm still doing about 100-112 Mhashes/s with it (it's overclocked, and I know ATI cards are the preferred GPU for mining).
Just to clarify, BFGMiner on Linux does pick up my CPU on my netbook (Intel Atom N450), and uses those to mine, even though it's kind of pointless.
I do the BFGMiner as administrator also. Any guidance on these issues?
