1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Ico / Ido Pay for Service on: October 02, 2022, 06:48:12 AM
This may be the wrong board and if it is I apologize but is there a pay for service / website that can give you information or vetting of Ico’s / ido’s to help with picking which ones to buy? I guess maybe something like a motley fools for new crypto? I know everything is a gamble but there has to be a group that has a proven track record that you can pay for insight. Thanks!
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / ICO / Presale Question on: September 21, 2022, 11:51:32 PM
Hello. I’m looking for help from you guys on the best website or pay for service that gives you information on ICO / Presale of new tokens preferably on the Binance chain.  I look on coin gecko at the new coins listed and see that after a day or so some coins are already 2-300% up. I’d like to be able to find info so that I could get a chance to buy these prior to being listed so I could have a chance to actually buy a coin before it’s all time high. I’m only looking to throw a couple hundred into a few coins and see if I can hit on one. Thanks!
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / BTG / SMOS Mining Questions on: October 01, 2018, 12:59:24 PM
Hello Everyone:
I'm looking to get some help on overclocking settings at SMOS (Simple Mining.net)

I've got three rigs.

(6) 1080 Zotac Mini GPU's                                   (255 Sol/s) (Core 175) (Memory 1200) (Power Limit 105)
(6) 1080 Mix of Different GPU's                             (220 Sol/s) (Core 100) (Memory 100) (Power Limit 75)
(6) 1070 Ti ASUS GPU's                                       (248 Sol/s) (Core 125) (Memory 500) (Power Limit 100)

What to mine is saying to mine BTG (Zhash) as it's the most profitable at the moment.

I've got the rig up and running ewbf-v0.5-cuda9.1

I've listed the Sol/s I'm currently getting as well as the overclock settings.

Do any of you have any advice or adjustments you would make to get more Sol/s, or is what I'm getting pretty much close to what's expected?

Thanks

I've been mining my two computer GPU's on this site with averages of 11MHPS on one and 30MHPS on the other.

If you want to mine bitcoin you need to buy a modern bitcoin ASIC miner. Today 1000 GH/s is extremely slow and the fastest miner, I believe, has 16000 GH/s (16 000 000 MH/s).

There are some altcoins you can still mine with a PC. Some services let you mine altcoins and get paid in bitcoin.

At Bitminter we only support bitcoin mining (with merged mining of namecoin). Maybe we'll support other coins in the future.

Thanks for the reply.  I didnt specify but i'm mining bitcoin on both computers, but found it strange that Bitminter had two GPU's running for two weeks and only paid out a small amount while the CPU mined bitcoin at Nicehash for two days and the pay out was 3x or more.

Guys:
I'm new here and wanted to get some feed back on how this site works verses Nicehash.

I've been mining my two computer GPU's on this site with averages of 11MHPS on one and 30MHPS on the other.

I've been mining almost 3 weeks and only received 0.00000005 to date.

I've been mining my CPU at only 150kh at nice hash for two days and received 0.00007110

What am i doing wrong at Bitminter to receive so little vs the small hash rate at Nicehash?
