2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] TIMEREUM (TME): First manually mined smart contract token. on: August 06, 2017, 06:36:23 PM
Lending Reward Scenarios are now available. These are non-technical examples of how to use the loan service.

2. The case of non-repayment of credit is not clear. This gives rise to the idea that the lending mechanism will in fact be used to generate coins by the owner of the addresses, and not for lending between lenders and borrowers. Now, if there was any mechanism of collateral in the ETH, with the mortgage automatically returned to the borrower when the loan is returned. After that, the creditor and the borrower received remuneration under the contract in TME. Moreover, the pledge of ETH for the time of the loan would have been frozen at the creditor's address, so the lender could not make transactions with collateral coins. If the borrower does not return the loan at all, the mortgage is forever frozen for both the lender and the borrower. As soon as the overdue loan is repaid, the pledge is returned to the borrower who receives the TME reward, and the borrower does not receive anything for the delay. In such a scheme, the borrower is interested in repaying the loan on time to receive the reward and return the collateral. The lender is more confident in repaying the loan, at the same time he can not steal the pledge, since the ETH pledge is frozen. In a pair, a parent-child coin generates a transaction of any size. In the credit pairs of addresses, the contract will be executed only with a full repayment of the amount? And how then to be with the repayment of the loan in installments, in installments? This situation can arise if the borrower simply returns part of the loan. Will the loan agreement be considered fulfilled and generate a reward to the creditor? And if the borrower took 1000TME, returned 100TME, did not receive a reward, but remained with 900TME profit. And the creditor received a small reward, which does not cover 900 loss coins? I believe that in the scheme with the ETH mortgage it is possible to take into account the contract executed only with full repayment of the amount, including by installments. Consider the possibility of implementing a scheme with a mortgage if at all possible?

TimereumDev - Is it possible to implement a mechanism of collateral within the Timereum contract, as described above, which seems essential to the lending economy.

Hi TimereumDev, a few questions:

What is the goal amount for contributions being raised in order to get TME listed?

Is everything explained in the white paper completely irrelevant now, and can be seen only as a jumping off point for something completely new?

Is it correct to say that the so called genesis tokens that airdrop recipients are holding, have no function at all going forward except as a possible exchange token for the next token?

The advantages of being a genesis holder were very clear, and on that basis, a decent community base has formed. Now, it's quite unclear what our stake in this is going forward - except there will be some advantage, which may be the ability to exchange TME for the new currency.  Is it possible to share a little more clearly, the advantages that genesis pair holders stand to gain by supporting this project, contributing financially, spreading the word etc.?

From the Roadmap:
"Owning timereum will be advantageous when this new currency is re- leased. Most likely, timereum will convert or directly translate to this new currency. Address pair holders should not feel the need to create timereum batches prematurely."

TimereumDev:This is a new currency, but TME ownership will determine holdings in this new currency. Conversion of TME to this new currency is also one way to reduce TME inflation. TME may also be used to determine holdings in future projects as well.

Can you explain what this means "conversion of TME to this new currency is also one way to reduce TME inflation"?

I know you're busy getting things done, but lots of questions remain even before it makes sense to contribute to the listing fund. Hope very much that you can answer.

Thanks for all your hard work and innovative thinking. Really, very impressive.

@bob75coin Just move your 1 TME back to your child address. Better yet, next time only move a tiny amount of TME. You own both wallets so you can always access your TME, presumably.

TimereumDev, or @bob75coin, what is the benefit of only moving a tiny amount of TME? If we only get 10 transactions total, then what's the difference?

Warning folks!

This person is now soliciting investments from Indian members. Although he has received over $69,000 USD from bitcointalk members and not produced ANY evidence of having done any work on a coin.

Please read his other threads before "investing".

Be careful.
After finally getting a verification to go through (took a month), I've tried the instant buy feature over 20 times. Each time, the transaction is instantly cancelled as being "too high risk".  We're talking purchases of .25 btc...
The feature that used to work - 5 day wait - is no longer available.  They apologize in the error message and ask me not to give up but try again in a few days/weeks... what b.s.
no help from support staff either...
16  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Stay away from Coinbase on: December 31, 2013, 12:14:28 AM
coinbase has been a disaster for me.

instant verification took 1 month of BS glitches to accomplish. (no replies from "support" team)

after finally being verified for instant buy, every cancellation is now instantly canceled as "too high risk"!

WTF?

Now, the ability to purchase BTC the old 5 day wait way is gone.

I hope they use their new 25 million well....

Central banks and gov'ts are happy people are getting used to digital currencies... their fantasy is to land on a centralized, trackable, flexible currency... easy to tax.
