1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is Satoshi Nakamoto? on: March 02, 2018, 04:29:12 AM
There’s been a lot of conjecture who Satoshi Nakamoto is. What’s for sure is that he/she/ is the inventor of Bitcoin and created the first block of the Bitcoin blockchain. Various journalists have appealed to have identified Satoshi Nakamoto. In 2014, Newsweek published a portion about Dorian Prentice Satoshi Nakamoto, a 64-year old ex-engineer and developer living in Temple City, CA. They concluded that the language style of Satoshi’s original paper is amazingly fluent for a Japanese individual, and that it’s therefore much more likely that Satoshi is a US citizen. Whether Nakamoto is a man, woman, or group of individuals is unknown as well, because the mysterious creator has somehow remained anonymous.

4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is changing the world. on: February 28, 2018, 11:20:47 AM
Bitcoin is changing our mentality about money. It is not enforced, so if it is accumulated by few, then there will be no Bitcoins available, and users will use something else. Bitcoin is changing how we move funds and make payments, it is the only payment method for lots of countries where visa, mastercard, paypal is not present. Developers all over the world are working on creating systems that use blockchain technology. There are about two billion people in the world who do not use banking. In some cases, someone said that might be because it's unsafe for them to reveal their identity to their government. A digital identity created with blockchain technology or an online cryptocurrency account could help billions of people worldwide.

7  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Long term vs. short term investing on: February 24, 2018, 12:09:50 AM
Long term is the lowest effort and easiest strategy to adopt and is based on the assumption that the price of bitcoin will see a rise in real-value over long-term time periods. You might choose long term because you will have confidence that your investment choices are long-term winners and Don't have the time or motivation to invest actively. Short term investing requires some level of technical analysis ability. It can require a significant time investment and can be stressful if price movements go against your expectations/plans.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how i can start?? on: February 20, 2018, 12:45:11 PM
Once you have your bitcoin wallet and your bitcoin address, you are ready now to earn some bitcoins. If you don’t want to buy anything you can invest your bitcoins in different ways such as holding on to them, trading them or getting mining equipment. Keep in mind that most Bitcoin investments are very risky and you should educate yourself about this matter before investing your money. If you want to put together the largest possible amount of Bitcoin, mining is among your best options. Mining refers to the use of computer hardware to automatically perform a set of mathematical operations, which in turn creates new Bitcoin.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin used by criminals ? on: February 20, 2018, 12:12:28 AM
Some criminals use bitcoin because users can open a wallet to send and receive bitcoin without giving a name or identity. There is no bank or central authority, like a government, to control this information. Bitcoin also became a popular method for making payments when a computer system is taken over by ransomware. Researchers have also linked a quarter of bitcoin users with crime, such as hacks, money laundering and the trading of drugs and illegal pornography. Worryingly for investors, they believe that the sheer popularity of the cryptocurrency amongst criminals is a major contributor to its value. However, they also believe that bitcoin could become less useful and less valuable if criminals turn away from it.

11  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is bitcoin like a Bubble ? on: February 19, 2018, 01:13:13 PM
Derek Thompson, who covers economics for The Atlantic as a senior editor, notes it’s hard to determine if Bitcoin is a bubble because it’s an entire industry. However, he thinks Bitcoin's recent patterns are akin to other famous bubbles that burst — such as the dotcom bubble. Investors make huge life decisions based on Bitcoin worth, and they often make impressive predictions about what’ll happen in the future. People also made those actions in association with other things that went bust, leading individuals to caution history will repeat itself. They say the only thing they’re not certain about is when it’ll happen.
