RIGS:

1. => 4 * 280X @ 3 MH/s
2. => 3 * 280X @ 2.21 MH/s
3. => 2 * 5970 @ 1.17 MH/s (underclocked for heat reduction)

all of them working ~100% uptime (4 months)

coin difficulty based on 2^32 til share difficulty based on 2^16

my vote is => big unexchanged balance is DOGE and h2o holding it til prices rising

if there would be an option then i would let more unexchangeds with up to 7 day/payout for more profit

just a simple note:
DOGE have 55GHs atm.. LTC 114 GHs
figure out whats coming

if there is no HW errors, disconnects...etc everyone should have 99+% efficiency after few hour (difficulty does NOT matter!)
more hash u have mean less time to balancing out luck/unluck at higher difficulty
but there is no way to be "unlucky" all the time and getting bad efficiency without any reason!

Work Unit = shares / minute @ difficulty 1 (diff1 = 2^16 at scrypt coins)
HRA = average hash rate (kHs)

efficiency = WU * 65536 / 60 / 1000 / HRA
(*100 to get res. as %)

after 1+ week mining i (stil) have more than 99% efficiency on all rig
1h ago restarted my solo card desktop PC = 110% efficiency atm.. and will go down to ~100%

if u have time u can choose more profitable coins by urself => more profit

mining here is NOT the most profitable, but the easiest (until u get more than mining LTC.. u should not cry)

little switching pools have adventages by their size (til few hundred MHs), cos they can farm very low difficulty coins and make more profit
the problem is: more profit => more ppl join => less mineable coin => less profitability
+ lil coins have lil market (lil supply) => high demand ruining prices rly fast
+ lil coins simply die between 2 swithing pool actions => making it less and less valuable (transactions stop when jumpers go away)

every pool calculating profitability different way.. and tbh i dont like most of them (getting lowest sell price from crypsy and calculating profitability with it is simply wrong... etc)
+sometimes i dont know why they mining 1-1 coin (there is like 0 supply.. or calculated profitability with wrong/outdated datas)

ppls who wanna compare pools efficiency.. u should compare them at same time/period or u'll get false numbers (like compare december numbers with today ones)

crybabies made a river cos the profit decreased last few day... did any of them following altcoins price? or just crying cos that easy?
when BTC went up $1000 again, almost all altcoin "lost" like 30-40% value (they worth ~same amount in $, but they /BTC value decreased 30-40% cos BTC value) == we get less BTC

when u start cgminer without -T or --compact => u see only "black screen" with 5970 cards
-T gives u lined text results
--compact give u compact view == no detailed info / cards(cores), just 1 line for overall stats => but u can change settings by builtin commands! etc

if u check his address on list u'll see he stil mining, and he got already .61 BTC

middlecoin mining mostly DOGE, and it stuck sometimes on market.. so u see many "unexchanged balance"
if u mined ~24h with ur 1.5-1.8 MHs => u should see ~0.02+ BTC overall (immature + unexchanged + balance)
u will get ur money 1-2 day later when mined coins sold AND ur balance > 0.01

I found only 1 pool => mst.pnwminer.com (~80-100% net hashrate avg.)
(edit: difficulty bouncing between ~0.15-0.5)

but few h ago all nodes gone.. no wallet sync.. no new blocks ..etc

so.. if anyone know a working node, plz share it. thanks!

this diff retarget system a bit fail atm
and someone playing with it "nicely"

coming in with 50-100MHs => getting 10-15 block in 1 min, and leaving
coming back 30 min later => after gettin his 1st block, average will be like 0 cos there where 30 min pause between 2 block => gettin his 10-15 block => leaving
and starting again.. and again

what program let me set parameters well?
forexample:
pool 0 => diff < 4 & pool/network hash > 0.1

im working atm on my own DB, what tell me which coin mine is better at a given moment (i know coinchoose, coinwarz, but they are outdated @ some coin, or dont have a requested data at all)
+ stil dont know how will i control the miner to switch but im optimistic xD

You missunderstandin me. I dont want solo mining, im @ minar too when pool/network hashrate is fine.
But every few hour the hashrate goin up to sky.. and the pool losing its efficiency == wasting hash power

atm 117M network and 3M minar's hashrate =>  its like solomining (my +2MHs cant help on it)

Can someone tell me where is the big pool for PHS?

I use minar when network hashrate below 100k + minar over 20-30k.
But every 1-2 h network hashrate goin up to 250+ k and destroying minars efficiency => ppls leaving and the few remaining like solomining with 0 efficiency

and a bitcoin ASIC useable only for mining bitcoins => u cant mine LTC (scrypt+SHA) with them

and.. there is no available/shipping right now devices that can make easy profit
all of them like out of stock, 2 month delivery, in development (rdy at 2014. febr) ...etc

2013-12-02 difficulty will change, and you will earn less (~0.0222 BTC/week)

sort version:
difficulty changes every 2 week to compensate overal network hashrate changes
new/better miners join => increasing network hashrate => increasing difficulty => decreasing your mining device effinency

without energy cost you could run your miner forever
but there is a high chance your investment will never paid off, because difficulty increasing 20-40% / every 2 week

3 month later (6 changes) difficulty may be => 1,3^6 = 4,826809x higher!
so you will mine 4,826809x lesser with the same equipment


look around the forums
there are few incoming ASICs with brutal power, but making profit with them stil highly depend on release date/shipping time
1-2 month delay.. and they are worthless
