Though bitcoin is a good investment.. You should not risk it all. Like Warren buffet once said, "Dont put all your eggs in one basket". You should only invest what you can afford to lose.. What if the market suddenly crash or have a big correction, the psychological effect if you are new to crypto is bad.

I would highly recommend ICX(ICON), it is a 3rd generation blockchain which takes all current platforms and expands upon them, in the future they hope to enable users to maintain their information in a decentralized manner when it comes to insurers and such. there's a bright future for this coin

I choose Waves over ETH, it is founded by a Russian team. WAVES smart contracts are easier to use than Ethereum. Waves has its own decentralized exchange called WAVES dex and there is no chance of losing your money because you're trading on your own secured wallet.

My portfolio is 80% longterm (40% bitcoin-playsafe 40% altcoins-there are alot of coin that has potential out there, you just need to read its fundamentals) and 20% for scalping/short term trade.. Both are profitable but i prefer having good coins (top 1-20 in coinmarketcap) for long term.
