it appears that my fglrxinfo is not working correctly... anyone have this happen before?

I have 280x r9 gpus, I ran sudo apt-get install fglrx-updates fglrx-amdcccle-updates fglrx-updates-dev  successfully.  When I run

sudo aticonfig --lsa
I get
aticonfig: No supported adapters detected


Has anyone experienced this? please help.

EDIT: Im running  Xubuntu Desktop x64 v12.10

thanks guys the problem was simple, i didnt have the ram pushed down all the way....what a dumb mistake....

3 XFX Double D R9-280X-TDFD Radeon R9 280X 3GB 384-Bit GDDR5 CrossFireX  ( http://www.frys.com/product/7971370?site=sr:SEARCH:MAIN_RSLT_PG )

1 Corsair AX1200i 1200 Watt Power Supply Unit  (http://www.frys.com/product/7252993?site=sr:SEARCH:MAIN_RSLT_PG )
2. DDR3 2GB 1333MHz Single Module Patriot PSD32G133381  ( http://www.frys.com/product/6413552?site=sr:SEARCH:MAIN_RSLT_PG )


So here is my problem, I put it all together, when I power it up for the first time the motherboard looks good lights up, the CPU fan is spinning, fan on graphics cards are spinning, however I cant get anything to display on my monitor. Monitor says no signal detected or something like that. Monitor works fine it isnt the monitor.... any ideas?

As to my last post, has anyone ever deposited money and not have a hold, your account simply doesn't say anything, sent them 60k+....still nothing. How long should I wait, they did say give them 5 days after i submitted my ID.

yes, thats my deal. 10k.....is where? oh, you need to send us the SWIFT transaction record... <wait for days> .... oh, maybe you need to see who else besides us is
holding your money ...<time passes> .... <more time>........a bunch of non-response..... checking w/ my bank.......sending in Russian.... contacting them in more ways
they ignore.......
and so on.
Nothing shows up in the account and I know damn well they have it.

Let us know if you become one of the lucky ones who gets their fundage, please do.

They responded today when I asked about why there is no hold in my account this is what they said.

I sent them $60,000+ on the 25th. I have not had any holds on my account, I finally got a support ticket answered yesterday  saying,

Now I can't submit any more tickets, the option isnt there... I will let you guys know if it gets credited.
