Escrow is like a "trusted middle man".

Basicly you buy something form person X, who you don't know (and/or trust). You make your payment not directly to person X, but to the middle man. They then hold your payment until you confirm receipt of the item/goods/coins. Only then will person X receive his payment.
6  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Having a hard time getting USD into BTC-e any tips : ( HELP! on: November 25, 2013, 09:23:29 AM
You should buy bitcoins in some other exchanges. Then you can transfer it to the BTC-e. I suggest bitstamp or Mtgox for depositing USD.

I have been looking at this option myself, but with prices at mt Gox and Bitstamp 10-15% higher then at BTC-e this does not seem like a good investment?

Hi, just wanna make a quick introduction. Have been checking out Bitcoins a couple of years ago, done some amateur mining and backed out again because of lack of time at the time (ouch).

Interest has been sparked again lately, because of obvious media attention and more mainstream acceptance of bitcoins. Would like to get back in, looking for a way in without getting scammed or otherwise screwed over which is proving to be a challenge  Undecided

Have been following this forum with some interest for a couple of weeks now, now it's time to step in and mingle  Smiley
