1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Looking for support with rig. on: February 08, 2018, 04:37:53 PM
Hi i am hoping to link up with someone to get some straight forward help. I have browsed the forums and can’t seem to figure it out. At the moment I’m running a headless 5 gpu setup 2 Gtx 1070’s and 3 rx580’s. I have not messed with anything completely stock. I’m using ethminer on Linux and mining to nanopool. Here is my process...
-ssh into system.
screen
Cd ethminer
Cd eth-proxy
./start.bash
screen
Cd ethminer
./start-nvidia.bash
screen
Cd ethminer
./start-Radeon.bash
............
Out of the 3 580’s I’m getting 67mh/s
Out of the two 1070’s I’m getting 52mh/s
I know I’m capable of more I’m just wondering if i can take one card at a time into windows on a separate pc and modify the bios(rx580’s)and use msi afterburner to tweak and then return the card to the rig and have it run at optimal performance. Any direct help would be greatly appreciated.
Is the process I’m using efficient? Is there something else i should be doing? The rig currently is pulling just over 900w for 120mh/s.

Thank you so much

3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / help with mixed cards on: January 19, 2018, 02:30:54 AM
currently im mining with two separate ethminers for my 2 1070's and 3 580's. I would like to keep my 1070's on ethminer and run the 580's in claymores dual miner. can anyone help in setting it up to recognize amd cards and ignore the nvidia.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / N00B...Have my rig set up just need help with some tweaks! on: January 16, 2018, 01:08:36 PM
HI all, I currently have a 5 card setup. 3 rx580's and 2 1070's.  Im running ethminer in ubuntu.  i have two separate ethminers running, one for the nvidia cards and one for the amd as this is how i got it to read all cards.  Everything on the cards are stock aside from switching the amd's from graphics to compute.  The 1070's are putting out 26mH/s and two of the amd's are at 21mH/s and one is at 23mH/s.  The rig is currently drawing 950 watts at the wall.  Im hoping someone can give me some insight on how to bring the power usage down and possibly try to get the hashrate up. Ive seen alot of 1070's run 28-30mH/s and same with the 580's, up to 31mH/s.

Any help would be appreciated thanks guys.
