Indeed, that's what I did. I imported the backup from my electrum desktop in my electrum android. As I mentioned I was hoping this would allow me to use the channel from my phone as well. But I understand that is a bad idea

Hello everyone,

I find myself in the following situation:

I opened a lightning channel with my electrum desktop wallet, everything well fine. I have have as well an electrum android wallet in my phone opened with the exact same seed. Now, the lightning channels are not associated with the seed, I know that, which is why I scanned the QR code and imported it to my android wallet.

Now when I go to "Channel" in the android wallet I can see my channel there that appears as "FUNDED" and has the according balance displayed. However right above I still have "you can send m0 BTC; you can receive 0 mBTC". So somehow the channel is imported to my android wallet but it is not usable?

What am I doing wrong?
