Looks intresting. When does the open beta start?

2% Premine AND 15 Coins from every Block for the Dev Wow!!! That's like a 5% pre-mine. Dead before launch even. When will they learn? The post mine can even be swallowed if used in regular chunks for development and giveaways, or for charity, as demonstrated by Einsteinium. If it was like 505 per block with 5 going to the dev. Pre-mine is totally dead. waltsmith

I have been very active with, and a strong supporter of, this coin from the start as well. Henrd!x and Micryon can vouch for that at least. I would like to help in any way I can. No huge amounts of technical or marketing skills, but I don't mind some legwork here and there.

I can say one ting for sure about the last few pages in this thread. The discussion has really started to turn towards what it needs to be. How to do something with our coin. Personally, I got a 280x and 3 340's out of this coin so, even if that's it, it wasn't a total loss.

Nah, personally, since we are still talking contest, if anyone wins anything it would be great if they would either buy GPUC or mine it. And while it does look dismal at this point. We have all seen coins go into what was considered the dumps and then come back. All it will take is BTC booming again and off it goes, along with almost any worthwhile alt.

Gee, I'm just not really sure what to make of the discussion that this thread has degenerated to now.

It's simple, coin "IPO" means scam. And the person who ran the business was incompetent. Also please stop signing your user name at the end of your posts. We all can read your username just fine, it has been driving me nuts for months. It's inane to sign your username on every post as if your username is not present some where else in the forum. Let's break this down, you know, just for fun. "It's simple, coin "IPO" means scam." Opinion. And, like assholes, everybody has one, some two or more. "And the person who ran the business was incompetent. " Refer to the previous line. "Also please stop signing your user name at the end of your posts. We all can read your username just fine, it has been driving me nuts for months. It's inane to sign your username on every post as if your username is not present some where else in the forum." Observation with unique information. Thank you, that's what this forum is truly for. You know, I've actually been wondering if I should continue signing my posts. Now, I have feedback to make an informed choice! waltsmith I vote: Keep the Sig. For various reasons. One of which, you may be able to surmise from the reaction to it... And yes, back to point. Please. Please. Please. My guess is no one is getting any "contest winnings". So, let's just get back to coin business guys. waltsmith

maybe ask in the mining section ? the correct people will be checking over there eh..
topic from Oct 2013 lol
Yeah, I asked there too, but you never know, lol. Anyways, some knowledgeable folks answered the question very nicely. It seems M is not million, but mega, so G is giga. Sometimes, previous misconceptions keep us from seeing the truth no matter how plain and simple. lol. waltsmith

So, can anyone tell me what a "Best share" of 7G is equivalent too? I've seen 635k, and I know that that is 635,000 difficulty for that share, and I've seen 219M, and I've assumed that is equivalent to 219,000,000.
But, earlier I solved a block of doge at netcode and my share was 7G, what the hell is that? I would assume that 7B would be 7 billion, although I've never seen a share that high before today, or am I wrong?

Shoot, I transferred 400k GPUC and they're not showing on the receiver wallet If they went transfered on the wrong blockchain, does this means that my coins are lost? No, not lost. Could be due to several different issues that plague a lot of wallets on a lot of coins. Re-downloading the block-chain on both clients while running the wallet with the re-scan option in the shortcut you use to launch them should solve almost any issue, especially if afterwards you wait approx. 30 minutes for any thing missed in blockchain to be re-broadcast and confirmed. Any questions just ask here. waltsmith

Well guys, I too am really sad at how this is turning out. I've defended the store owner from day 1. He has always done what the said he would do, whether it was smart or not, he did what he said. But, I know he is getting our e-mails, cause he updated the OP when I asked him to for the hard fork. However, refusing to communicate with his team or the community is the really a slap in the face. If he wants to go out of business just say so, so we can get on with things. If he wants to leave the option open to reopen the store if things turn around then a simple:"We are temporarily suspending operations due to, blah, blah, blah." That simple. Takes about two minutes and that's it. If he is not gonna sell the rest of his cards then take the store offline for "maintenance". Return the coins of those whose orders haven't been honored. I too, have to say I'm not the team forum rep anymore, I mean, how can you represent someone you can't communicate with? I know one thing, the ideas behind this coin were the best. Even if they don't pan out in the long run, this coin still has a lot going for it that many other coins don't, and I will continue to support it in any way that I can!!

Well, while GPUCoin did not post here today it's obvious he got my message about needing to update the OP and title. So, at least we don't need a new thread at this point. The reward halving is only a couple days away now, so lets see how that goes eh??

Unfortunately I cannot update the OP, and don't have access to the webstore either.. We really need at least hendr1x to update the web store..
We could always create a new post and start a new thread... But the more important thing is this coin has to find a new angle.. i think selling GPUs with investor money, for GPUC is pretty much a dead business model at this point. Investor funds have run out, and GPUCs cannot be unloaded to buy new GPUs...
Perhaps we have a chance to pivot this coin to be a secondary market place trade coin (like sell old GPUs using GPUC on the website)... but again we need hendr1x to drive this as he is the dev/owns the website.
I'm still around to update the coin as needed.. but that's not an angle at this point.
+1 I haven't heard from the CEO either. I say we give him till friday afternoon to make an appearance or contact with someone, after that we will have to start a new thread to get the word out about the hardfork or we are dead in the water. Also, I've been trying to get a hold of bittrex all day but am having no luck letting them know about the wallet update. waltsmith

Here are the links to the new wallet. People as you notify pools and exchanges plz post that you have done so here, also if you know if they have updated or not so we can bug them again in couple days if they don't respond. I have asked Jaymes to update the OP. This is synching up nicely with the recent upswing in BTC price. The time draws near!! waltsmith EDIT: There is no need to re-download the blockchain or do anything in your appdata/roaming folder as long as you replace your executable with the updated version before the hardfork block number happens in a few days.
