1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v15.0 (Windows/Linux) on: September 29, 2019, 04:58:05 PM
Hey Claymore

Cannot resolve 'eu1.ethermine.org'
ETH: Stratum - Cannot connect to eu1.ethermine.org:5555
DevFee: ETH: Stratum - Failed to connect, retry in 20 sec...

my settings are correct and I am mining normally. But your devfee settings are not working and the mining doesn't continue if this is not fixed. Such a great problem. I kept getting this error many times and I lost bunch of times. Tell me what to do if I wasn't controling my screens? I was gonna lose a night maybe?

Check this port it´s a SSL port not a stratum one.

The pool is supposed to adapt the "value" of the share they sent

so, I think that the real calculation for your mining work is

average value of the share * number of shares

With cryptonight, I got more shares from  my i3 compared to the 1070 I have,

But if you put them in two separate wallet, you can see, for real, who is gaining more.
test it by yourself, this algo is different, but the logic of the ppls behind the pool I think its the same

Thanks @skablast, is there a way to know something about this "share's adaption value" used by pools?

I am on 0.58 version.

I have a question about shares. I don't understand  why different results with same nvidia card.
I know that different pools produce different shares rate,  but consistently my Dell Precision T 7500 with one Gtx1070 ( now ZCL-donate pool)  have much better shares than Biostar TB-250 with four Gtx1070 (MPH).
Dell T7500 : Gpu0  55C Sol/s 475-485   I/s 256   Sh 3.80-4.00
BIOSTAR Rig :======= Sol/s 470-480   I/s 255   Sh 0.65-0.75

So Sh are about 6 times better with Dell than Biostar Rig

Another difference is Dell working with Win7 and Biostar With Win 10.

I know hardware is very different but anyone can explain to me what can be happening?

Another newb here.  I'm not able to get anywhere near these sol/s numbers with my 1070.  Same algo, similar oc on core and mem.  My numbers are maxing at ~160 sol/s in the miner window.  I'm running win 10 (performance mode cpu), z270 mobo and msi 1070.  Am I missing an OS setting or something else?

Thanks.

I'm failing on attaching a screen capture here (is it enabled?) but it seems like the initial numbers are what I'd expect e.g. ~475 sol/s for the 1070 (~120)...unfortunately they drop VERY quickly to considerably less.  Any help/pointers on fixing this would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Try 1stminingrig.com win 10 tweaks.

Hi, i'm a total newby in mining, so i need some reference about performance.

I'm using my workstation an old Precision Dell T7500 Xeon 6Core 24gb 1xPNY-GTX-1070, mining at miningpoolhub. This weekend i'm going to build a rig with 4xGB-GTX1070

This are my rig numbers, working with Equihas-dstm (zm.exe) :

485 sol/s 3.84 sol/w
Are this numbers good enough?

AfterBurner OC settings:

Core + 190(GPU-Z 1830 Avg)
Memory + 775 (GPU-Z 2288 Avg)
PW 84%
Temp. 57ºC

Thanks
Your numbers are not too bad, but you will probably get better with some changes.
With a 1070, you can be around the 4 sol/W
You have probably to decrease your power usage, near 70/75% to catch the 4 sol/W.
You can decrease the memory overcock to 400/350.

Thanks, I will reduce the power to 75% and test the results in Precision T7500.
Finally I built 4x 1070 Gigabytes last weekend. My numbers are a little different:
1970 Sol/s (492.5 for GTX1070)
3.30 W/Sol

But Sh(ares) only 2.2-2.5 for the four graphics cards.

I'm happy, but ready to improve the efficiency.
