For me the Best platform are Bittrex and Binance those two are very easy to use and I know my funds are safe there. Right now I'm looking to register on Kucoin because those ICOs like Confi already listed there and Thekey was next so I thinkin to put some of my funds there.

You were right about that plus ETH has a active team, a lots of good projects, has a road map and have an active community. If you will base fundamentally ETH was better than BTC. But not all the people thinks about that some people that new in crypto world will say BTC is the King.

Possibly if all the people in crypto world has exact knowledge how eth and btc coin works because fundamentally speaking eth was more spectacular than bitcoin.

Of course right now ETH because lot of upcoming ICOs is under ETH network and almost of them has a very big potential in the future. Waves is good also for long term hold but if you compare both I'll chose ETH.

Yes $2k is possible you know why? because $5k is possible for eth this year. ETH will moon at the same time with BTC so better get some now or regret later.

Ethereum has a bright future. But I will choose both of them 30% of my portfolio goes BTC and 70% of it goes to ETH and I will participate on those upcoming ICOs under ETH network because a lots of them has a good project, good team and good community behind of it so they have a very big potential in the future.

I will put it in 5 coins only it's so hard to monitor 10 coins so it would be ETH, NEO, ICX, TRX, and OMG. Those coins are for my long hold term. If the market will go down I'll sell then rebuy on dip so I can have more size holding on each of 5 coins.
