I got all xxxxxxx on hash board today. Rebooted and came online fine. At the time hw errors we're in the 70k on all 3 boards. Maybe it simply hit temp limit and shutdown? Now the board that shutdown is considerably lower in hw errors. My l3+ runs for weeks without a single hw error. I get the feeling bitmain rushed these and overclock them.
If you underclock to 575 your HW errors will practically vanish. Very helpful! Thank you.

Holy hashrate, Bitmain! My theory with drop in difficulty lately it's my initial A3 buyers decided to sell the units on ebay etc and the units were not running while being shipped. Now they are all coming back online and difficultly will return.

Anyone having issues sending siacoin to poloniex? I sent like 500 the other day and still no deposit. I opened a ticket and they said they are having problems with their wallet.

They do not include a power cord for some reason. I like this cord: Tripp Lite Heavy Duty Computer Power Cord, 15A, 14AWG (NEMA 5-15P to IEC-320-C13), 6-ft. (P007-006) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0027JRMD0/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_pmjBAbMT15GHS

just got mine hooked up
PCB temps 57, 57, 61
Chip temps 77, 79, 84
running at 525 AVG 729 gh/s
your temps are almost the exact same as mine at 668 w/ 927 ghs avg (shown in this video) https://youtu.be/WlWEc9CxpBg What are your HW errors and chip temps when overclocking your A3?

Based upon what I've been reading across multiple threads, if you own one of these, I would definitely underclock it unless you got some amazing cooling in front of it
Under clock by how much?? Any ideas? I am about to leave town and don't want this thing blowing up. Anyone have a good setting to put it on? On default setting (600) it seems to be overclocking. I'm averaging over the stated 815, but also getting a lot of HW errors and chip temps seem high especially since L3+ says keep under 80 C. Any suggested settings would be helpful.

Can anyone with an A3 tell me if they are seeing a lot of hardware errors? Is it normal? My L3+ has run for 2 weeks with only 1 HW error. The A3 is in the thousands just overnight..
yeah same here, i reduced the frequency to around 525 mhs What hashrate are you getting with 525 mhs? My A3 is set to "default" setting. What is the normal frequency for the A3? Also when is warranty voided if you wanted to overclock? Anyone know? waranty is voided, speed at 525 is around 780 ghs but shows 700 at the pool the defaul its 600 it shows on the main mining dashboard next to the temps. What are your chip and PCB temps ? Ah yes I see frequency on main page now. PCB Temps => 58, 58, 62 Chip Temps => 74, 84, 87 Avg Gh = 834.51 (15 min since I updated settings) My Sia Output: https://siamining.com/addresses/05fbb51de819d9e60c3e24c239f23ad59cb022de4a1933e62844f6fc99c9e4bedc4ca686322bwhat you are getting 834 with 525 freqency ? your temps are alot better than mine 834 with default setting which is 600.

I know this has been asked a few times, but this thread is very long and hard to search. 1. What SIA Pools are people planing to mine and in what order? I ask mainly because of the SIA drama, supporting the fork via luxor etc. So what pools should I support with my A3? -SiaMining.com -nanopool.org ?? - ? 2. What are the settings used for the other pools. Siamining.com was easy enough to figure out.

If you ordered A3 via DHL, then how will you know if a customs fee is due, how do you pay it and how much?

Can someone tell me if we can run these in a aprtment in the US? I believe we have 125 V 15 A breakers. But the APW++ PSU on bitmain site says that 110 V will only provide 1200 W ourput. Are we SOL? Will the bathroom or kitchen special outlets do any help?
You'll be able to power a single A3 on one of those circuits, but I wouldn't use a single APW3++. I'd go for the EVGA SuperNova 1600 G2 instead. We have a ton of customers who attempted to run the S9 with an APW3++ over 120v circuits and would often experience hashing boards that would just disappear until the next reboot. Moving to 220v circuits almost always fixes the issue permanently. The point is that the APW3++ will still attempt to output the full amount needed by the miner, but the power will likely be less consistent and you'll also be increasing your fire hazard risk. If you insist on using the APW3++, then get 2 of them and run some hashing boards on one and the rest on the other. That's weird. I've never experienced this issue with the S9 and the APW3++ They're not made to run 110v. Made for 220-240. Sometimes on 110v with AP3++ won't even power up. Well I have a 13.5 TH (1323W) S9 on 110v with the APW3++ running with no issues at all. https://i.imgur.com/16yimGX.pngI'm running an L3+ on 110v no problem as well. Albiet it's only 800watts. Trying to figure out how to run the A3 at 1200 watts. I'll probably take it to my office and put it in server room.

which SIA Pool and exchange will you use?
I will switch between nicehash and another pool that will pay out siacoin. I'll cash out on nicehash and hord coins from a sia pool. Just a little concerned about issues sia wallet have. Also I was interested in sia a week or 2 back and was going to GPU mine it so I downloaded the wallet. It took all day to sync. Then A3 announcement just a few days later and I opened sia app again and it took several hours again to sync. That's not a great infrastructure.
