Given the size and reach of Amazon, I wouldn't be so sure that they will just accept Bitcoin or another pre-existing coin. They could launch their own coin with Amazon-specific perks and do pretty good.

There is a lot of positive on the outlook for Bitcoin. January 30th is a good date to watch with the South Korean exchanges reopening. That should also bode well with the Olympics in that area, there should be a lot of chatter and trading.
