If a fiat gate way takes a year why not become a Binance competitor a Iconomi exchange first i see the Binance tokens get burnt buy the millions. And see exchanges poping up everywere like its nothing why is this something for iconomi? I dont care for the fiat gate way or events/audits.
I'm sure they've considered it, but their original aim was to become more of a fund manager... So they're working on that first... Very different business model. But I agree, the Binance model for the BNB token might be good to copy. E.g. give 50% discount if people pay fees using ICN. |

Price seems to be going lower and lower... By Q3 2018, the tokens from the team will come out, so I suspect a lot of them will sell, driving the price either further down... Dollar price will probably go up over the course of the year... Not so sure about the ICN/BTC price  . Will probably pump sooner or later though, they all seem to do... |

In my opinion, CombiCoin will be a good coin in the future, because this concept is very good. Good projects will get more people's attention and support.
I agree, it is a good currency but the team must be able to quote it on at least 2-3 exchanges, otherwise it will never be known! Just look at Crypto20 which has about the same idea as Combicoin but is present on 4 exchanges and capitalizes 70 million $ After the dividend of 0.01 $ in March for each TRIA, the Team announces for the month of April a dividend of 0.05 $ for each TRIA token, a result obtained with the market recovery. I agree. Already how much time has passed, and TRIA does not yet trade on normal exchanges. This should be corrected Getting TRIA listed on big exchanges would be expensive. It's OK if they just list TRIA on decentralized exchanges like Idex etc... Personally, I'm not selling my TRIA. It has a nice dividend which I think will rise even more when they improve their software bit by bit. However, it would be HUGE if COMBI could get listed on a big exchange (eg. Binance). That way, many more people would buy/sell it, and profit would rise. Imo, the Tria team over-estimated a bit how much Combi would be bought and sold. It's more a long-term HODL token. |

Do you guys have already fixed the Segwit claim problem with the transition bot?  ? Doesn't matter. Another promise broken... If you were doubtful, don't announce it. Some people have bought GBYTE specifically for this airdrop, and are now royally screwed by the Byteball team (basically Tony). |

Nice movement is showing in price now it's back into recovery phase I think it will be best project there is still huge chance to make big profit this is dark horse a lot of new things is about to release very soon.
I think the movement is now progressing because yesterday looks down, and now ICN already show the green light if later on many updates that occur price will rise again. Low price is a good thing for ICN holders. Lots of buybacks |

Even with the market taking a huge dive, combicoin really didn't get hit as much as I had expected.

Your P/B is incorrect. Their Book Value would have fallen with the bear market. You're using the last reported book value, which isn't current. Remember, markets are forward looking, not backward looking.
The ICN volatility isn't something new. We've generally seen that ICN falls much more than both BTC and ETH during bear markets.
If the team has cash, in general, they should be using it to buy back and burn more ICN. However, perhaps they need that money to pay salaries. This can be the biggest expense and what drastically reduces value to ICN holders.
I'm just using the site which I quoted: https://icnhodler.com/book-valueSays they update the prices/book value every couple of minutes. Yes, they keep enough cash to pay for 2 years of salaries. Still a lot of money left after that. Unlikely they'll burn the ICN tokens if they buy them back currently. In Q4, CCP bought a bunch but they said they would sell them later on if ICN prices got too high. |

Interesting times in the market. ICN is tanking again due to the current crypto crash. However ICN is tanking more than the market (P/B down to 0.5)... They still hold around 10 million $ in cash ( https://icnhodler.com/book-value). CCP has around 1M in euro as well. What should they do? - Use the cash to buy BTC, ETH or ICN? - Use the cash and their other cryptos (BTC, ETH...) to buy more ICN tokens (currently undervalued)? - Wait to see how this all plays out? Imo they should be buying stuff with their cash. Current market is a buy opportunity. |

Great q4 for iconomi. Still undervalued as shit
Yeah, one of the few crypto projects with a working platform and scaling nicely. Both in users and assets. Filled my ICN bag, but yeah, it's a long-term hold. Their plans/success will depend a bit on regulation. But they'll be miles ahead of competitors if they can pull it off. I think the fiat ramp might actually be the biggest milestone, which shouldn't be that difficult to accomplish in the next 3-6 months. |

both are fine. I have both, price is similar as well. Don't worry too much about it if you just have BTC and ETH.
If you have many other coins, you should investigate a bit.
Ledger Model T (2) is also coming out soon, I'll probably buy one of those.

Side thought. This year could be the year of institutional money flowing in. This will mostly go to high market cap coins. Possibly even pushing those higher, while draining money from low-cap coins (people will sell those for higher profits)...

I still have most in BTC (LN coming). For alts I only have some: - ETH: POS coming, more and more dApps and smart contracts will create demand and spike the price
- Monero: privacy coins will be the future, and this is the only one I trust at the moment. They'll also implement Lightning network... Ledger support coming.
- ICN: one of the few tokens with a working product. Crazy undervalued atm.
No CRAZY gains will be made imo, but still a lot of upside and these will also keep their value in case we enter a bear market. |
