I would recommend putting the money into buying GPUs to mine scrypt-based altcoins, much more money and SHA256 coins will have their difficulty greatly increased with the release of the 2nd generation of asics.

Most miners are detected as viruses as some malware forces your computer to mine, sending the BTC to the malware creator. The miner IS safe assuming you downloaded it onto your own computer.

So, I'm planning on buying a 6x 7950 rig for scrypt mining, but have been largely unsuccessful in finding retailers to get these. Could anybody direct me to a site that sells 7950s that reach good hash rates for a good price (under 280$ each ideally, will live with 300$) that have 6 in stock? A direct link to a specific model would be preferred. Thanks.
