1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]BANKERA - the Bank for the Blockchain Era on: August 02, 2018, 01:01:46 PM
His worries should be the repercussions from their breaking of the Lithuanian securities law

https://www.ccn.com/lithuanias-central-bank-investigates-100-million-euro-bankera-ico/

Such irresponsible behavior (performing an illegal public offering) by players of the the crypto ecosystem only do bad to cryptos in general. Such behaviour is not the one the industry so badly needs.

And for those who invested, stop crying. You got the worse deal ever and it was obvious from the onset. You bought something that gives no equity rights. Actually it gives you no rights at all. And this was stated in their white paper to be fair to them. Now live with the consequences of your irresponsible actions. You gambled on the price shooting to the moon and unsurprisingly you lost.

It is time people that everyone in this space to get their act together if you want this crypto experiment to succeed.

This seems a very solid project. But there seems to be an issue which is deal breaker. From what i understand the main selling point of the token, the benefit (besides the use for the services at a discount rate which is not stated what this discount will be) is the 20% distribution from the net transaction fees generated. But this distribution is at the discretion of the company! This is stated in the second page of the white paper.
So please someone correct me if i am wrong, the deal here is for people to give their money to the company but they have no legal rights! They get back nothing in reality! If after the ico or when the net transaction fees become significant, company may come and say we only give 10% or nothing! Is this the reality or am i missing something here?
Hasnt anyone considered this??? How are my interests as investor protected?

Thank you in advance for any constructive and insightful replies.

>so can someone tell me why to invest? And to what i invest if i do?  I am just giving away money to the shareholders of the company, for nothing, no significant in return.
Am i missing something here?

They ask for charity?

No reply from any people of the project???
So i assume all the above are indeed true. Unbelievable!

It is unfortunate to what this space has come to. The greedy of people blinds them and to be honest  although unfortunate people will lose their money and should have no one to blame for other than themselves.

How can someone invest under these terms and conditions?
It is not investing under these terms and conditions... It is charity. You give away your money!

The only reason someone should invest is because dump enough people, in their thousands, will invest and believe that this token has value, and thus drive price of a worthless token up. Only invest to get the pump and then dump. But this is not responsible behaviour... How many people need to get burnt before they learn? My guess is never enough times.

Anyhow, i can only hope that at least this post has made people a bit more informed and aware of the risks they take by investing here.
