In spite of the overwhelming difference in numbers, CryptoChicks has taken on the task of balancing out the scales. A mission to grow the professional and leadership potential of women in blockchain technology. CryptoChicks.ca was founded in July 2017 by Elena Sinelnikova, and in less than one year has made some serious traction. In such a short time there has been great success with programs developed in Canada, US, Russia, Pakistan and Bahamas and major hackathon events that are supported by Royal Bank of Canada, Deloitte, Microsoft, IBM. Rapture is the first crypto-currency project to integrate charities directly into the blockchain via their CharityNode program launched in February, 2018. Current charities and non-profits benefiting from CharityNodes include; Animal Friends Jogja, Middleton Community Trust, and The Salvation Army in Greece. CryptoChicks is an exciting addition to the CharityNode program and will receive recurring donations via the blockchain in an effort to support their mission.

https://medium.com/@rapturecoredev/the-salvation-army-in-greece-joins-the-rapture-projects-charitynode-program-aae423bc9d5Making a difference on the front line of need, The Salvation Army in Greece continues to expand their services to care for families in crisis. With limited funding and increasing demand for services, the Salvation Army constantly explores new partnerships with external donors and creative fundraising methods to meet operational needs and serve suffering humanity. Taking a lead in giving back to others, the Rapture Project team behind the crypto-currency Rapture ($RAP) have created the CharityNode beta program for charities and non-profits globally. This beta program uses the power and simplicity of MasterNode technology as an opportunity to support charities and those in need around the world. The total value of the donation will be posted and reported at the end of the 365 day pilot project. Recently the Salvation Army in Greece was notified that we have been selected as a recipient of one of 9 total spots available for initial beta program. Were grateful to Drew and his team for offering us a spot in the beta program. Says Captain Jean-Curtis Plante. It would be incredible if the CharityNode concept envisioned by the Rapture Project team became a standard of social responsibility for all crypto projects in the future He continued. Rapture was created by a small handful of developers that shared a vision that the blockchain could be utilized for true good. Rapture is a growing blockchain cryptocurrency project that focuses on charitable giving and benefiting those in need. Learn more at our-rapture.com For more details on the direct client support provided by the Salvation Army in Greece, please direct all media request to Captain Jean-Curtis Plante, Regional Business and Administration Officer based in Athens, Greece. When will you be releasing it?
Right now we're approved to release at any time. We ideally wanted to do a week of TestFlight testing and are going to setup a Google form for any users interesting in beta testing (along with having an airdrop campaign for testers). Oddly enough, TestFlight approvals are separate from App Store approvals, even for apps already approved for release. If it takes more than a day or two for the TestFlight approval, then we'll just move ahead with activating the release version, which at that point would start appearing in global markets within 24 hours.

Rapture wallet approved for iOS App Store release! We're excited to announce that the Rapture iOS wallet has officially been approved by Apple for release on the App Store! It took a lot of work during the review process to get it there and this is a great milestone for the project. Not only does this make $RAP dramatically more accessible to charities and non-profits, it makes it more accessible to everyone!

Just a heads up that our subreddit got a makeover and is back in action! Discord tends to be the hub, but we'll keep content flowing to Reddit going forwards. https://www.reddit.com/r/Our_Rapture/

This is a pretty comprehensive look at everything that we're up to. Plenty of great information and updates for anyone already familiar with Rapture, and also a really great snapshot of the project for anyone who is reading about us for the first time. We've loaded it up with plenty of content and visuals, enjoy!

Updates
Here are a few updates pulled from our Discord channels (the main hub for discussion and information)
------------------------------
Great news, the very first webwallet transaction has been processed! Funds sent to the webwallet, confirmed, funds sent from the webwallet! Still a few days worth of design and cleanup to do before it's really ready for everyone to start testing, but having it interfacing with the blockchain now is an awesome milestone!
June is going to be a really busy month for Rapture. - Web wallets will be up and running, Whitepaper will have been published - Android wallet might be ready to submit before the end of the month, seems likely - iOS wallet will hopefully be through Apple's submission process (sooner rather than later I'd hope, Apple is difficult but we've been working with them) - we'll be doing more PR around @lastchange/Rapture's Sharing With Charity and Charity Broadcast services (both of which are pretty unique in the crypto space and have been off to great starts). Both great for existing community members as well as people new to the project - @Veyeoshi has one really awesome Charity partnership that is almost finalized and everyone here will be pretty thrilled about. A few more discussions in the wings that look promising and we'll be reaching out to many many more organizations - With all of this, we'll finally be making a stronger push towards some of the bigger exchanges and listings that people have been hoping for, armed with a strong whitepaper and a really well developed project given how relatively new we are - As the new wallets become available (web, iOS, Android), we'll absolutely be doing some good airdrop campaigns to get people using those tools

Hey! The main exchanges for RAP are here: https://wallet.crypto-bridge.org/market/BRIDGE.RAP_BRIDGE.BTCand here: https://www.southxchange.com/Market/Book/RAP/BTCCharityNodes are one of our project's ways of aiming to provide support to charities and non-profits via the blockchain. They're funded and maintained by the team. It's also a way of encouraging charities and NPOs to start learning about and using the blockchain. Anyone can run a regular masternode, and we currently have 765 Masternodes on the Rapture network. Here's a status update the I had posted to Discord yesterday: Martin and I are at about 98% with the iOS wallet, should be ready to submit to Apple in the next couple of days. We'll announce once it's been officially submitted for validation. Once that's sent off, I'll be back on the whitepaper to finish it up. Once the whitepaper is out there, it will be about making the best push possible to get as much visibility as possible. The website won't be completely updated at that point, but I'm ok with that. We'll have a strong whitepaper that matches the new look, and even though the current website is previous visuals, the one thing it does have is a good amount of content regarding airdrops, charitynodes, etc.......so many crypto websites are the same one-page talking about Privacy, Speed, Security, etc.....we have a decent variety of content and updates, even though it's the previous look+feel. With the whitepaper and app submission done, we're going to go as full on as we can with exchange listing requests......submitting at new exchanges, and circling around on previous submissions from several months back. We'll do as best we can at trying to get visibility on what we're trying to do with Rapture. If anyone has any suggestions on effective pr platforms, whether it be via ads or social media, please DM them to me and we'll add them to the list. We'll also ramp back up reaching out to charities and NPOs (both big and small), as the WP should help inform them more about the project. That's the short term outlook. I have a Trello board that I've started populating with cards.....it needs to be detailed out more, but the idea is to make that publicly available (for viewing, comments, and voting) over the next couple of weeks so that there's good visibility on what we've done, what we're working on, what we want to do next.

Will post some screens of how that's looking tomorrow. - submitted a listing application with Trade Ogre, which is a new exchange that has been getting some buzz on Twitter. Wallet UI Updates
Quick preview of how the new desktop wallet is looking. It was hard to settle on the artwork behind the logo, so we have a random variation appear every time you launch the wallet.

I don't know where I should ask this question. I hope it can help. I've a considerable amount of RAP (even though I don't know their value ) and the wallet no longer works. I'm on Windows and I have several wallets on my PC that uses the same software (GBX, INN etc.). They only wallet that doesn't work is RAP. When I start it I see the splashscreen then the window goes out of screen on the right. I can't access it. I can only see hover preview on my taskbar with application title "Rapture Core - Wallet" and a big white screen below. I tried to install multiple times but it still doesn't work Hey Volcomstarr, feel free to jump onto our Discord server at https://discord.gg/NMgQEn8 and I can give you some real-time support there. Or, feel free to email me at rapturecoredev@gmail dot com and I'll can work through it with you via email if you prefer. We're just about to release an updated wallet, but there shouldn't be any issues on the current build. Hard to tell from the description if the wallet is opening and is just drawing strange, or if it's running into another issue.

Awesome idea! What's the amount available to win? Rapture can airdrop some extra RAP into the wallet to raise the stakes!
The number of coins is a secret, so interesting) We want to check the technical component, so that everything works correctly. https://twitter.com/RAP_Project/status/989168494586597376Just let us know the public address after and we'll airdrop the lucky winner some extra RAP!
