1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The next 100x-1000x coin? on: May 27, 2018, 02:36:06 PM
Just checkout wpr, it is an energy project and their platform is launching on 30th April, i think it will give big moves around that date, so get in while you can.

i dont think a new coin an make x100 in this martket after that time.

it was january that investores are hopely for that.

New coins can make 100x easily. This is not a rocket science. This is very possible when we consider all the facts. We can count dozens of new coins or tokes that made this much great price increasings.

"New coins can make 100x easily. This is not a rocket science. This is very possible when we consider all the facts. We can count dozens of new coins or tokes that made this much great price increasings." Based on historical facts I agree with you but many of us - more broadly speaking many crypto-investors in general - do not realize that traded volumes and depth of order books play a SIGNIFICANT role in many of these crazy price spikes.

What's the point if you buy for $2,500 of a XYZ token, that it rises 100 times, but that the daily traded volume is $10,000.... Actually, if you wanna sell all your tokens (i.e. worth $250,000 in this fictif 100X case), you'll crash the price instantly and actually could even loose money. (Not mentioning that if you buy for $2,500 of a $10,000 daily traded volume token, you'll actually may be the one that drives the 100x move...)

My 50 cent contribution here is just to point out the fact that "true"/"genuine" 100x's tokens/coins, buyable or sellable in a decent size without pumping or crashing the order book are VERY scarce... To me the liquidity issue of a token/coin is almost never pointed out but instead we are shilled and "fomo-ed" with the crazy returns...

That being said, I'm also looking/hoping for the next "genuine" 100x token and I enjoy investigating all the coins presented here ;-)

Peace to all and hope we'll meet one day on the Moon or, let's dream a bit further, on Mars ;-)

2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]modum.io - award-winning Swiss startup innovating supply chain operations on: February 23, 2018, 10:30:38 PM
Hi Guys,

As most of you here I'm a Modum hodler and do believe a lot in this company.

I just read the white paper - yes, I know, I should have done this before Smiley - and I have some questions concerning the following part of the document: "The modum.io solution is offered in an easy “pay-per-shipment” model. It has been shown in the market studies and pilots that customers would pay up to 10 USD per shipment."

My questions are:
1. What do they mean by "10 USD per shipment" ? Would it be 10 USD per logger used for the shipment ? Would it be 10 USD no matter how many loggers used in the shipment ? Other ?
2. Does anyone have any idea on the maximum volume that one logger can monitor ?
3. Does anyone have any idea/estimation for the cost of producing a single logger ?

And then, last but not least, I haven't been able to find answers to the following questions (but I admit that I didn't search a lot about it):
4. What do they mean by "profit" ? I guess it is earnings after taxes right ?
5. What proportion of these "profits" will be redistributed ? Is it at the board's full discretion or is there some sort of "promised %" of it ?

Many thanks in advance for your answers and thoughts ! With these answers I could definitely make some realistic valuations.

Cheers,
