1  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you Panic? on: January 20, 2018, 10:17:00 PM
I don't panic. Just hold and only invest what you can lose. I think that is a really necessary condition to trade without to much emotion. If I had would bet with money I can't lose, I would panic! Some ppl just invest too much in order to drive that Lamborghini.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH or Waves? on: January 20, 2018, 03:04:47 PM
I would hold your ETH. WAVES isn't that special in relation with ETH. If you want to change, diversify in different purpose coins.
3  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Is it illegal for someone to hack my BTC wallet? on: January 20, 2018, 02:31:05 PM
Theft/ granting yourself unauthorized acces is illegal in almost every country that I know. I think the major question here is. What next? Police often don't have the technology, intellect and/or resources to do anything about it. And what complicates this even more is that hacking happens often cross border. Then you get jurisdiction problems which complications everything bigtime. Only major hacks where it is about major money might be eligible for investigation. In all other cases, you're just fucked and you should fix/dry you tears yourself.
4  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Dip over? on: January 20, 2018, 02:14:33 PM
I agree somehow with the general consensus over here. The market is recovering and I am confident that it will at least rise for at least another 3 weeks. I think fluctuations will follow but not as hard as we have seen last week. Keep in mind that China's Lunar New Year holidays come up and they will sell a lot to prepare for it. I would just see it day by day and if we see signals which look like last week, maybe selling isn't such a bad idea to buy back cheap....
5  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it too late to buy bitcoin? on: January 20, 2018, 01:52:21 PM
I think it's too late. Bitcoin is to divide to become a useable currency. There are several altcoins which become better and better everyday. All the chain splits doens't add up to trust in btc.
6  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Is bitcoin a theat to economy and bankers as will on: January 20, 2018, 01:26:14 PM
I don't think its a threat to bankers, as I am one myself. CC are a threat for the position of the Government as parties who print and give out money. Euro or USD isn't really backed anymore, the rely on trust. With no trust in USD/EUR the system will fall apart. Cryptocurrencies could form an alternative for those fiat currency in a far future as everyone can create a currency which isn't ruled by a single institution. Don't see it happening so fast but for it's the main reason why I hold cryptocurrencies.
