My workers mine just normal since the crash yersterday. Thx for your work Doc. The support and the high maintenance are the reasons why I stay on Bitminter. BTW: Caused by the Exodus last week, My payouts where nearly on the same level as the weeks before. But now it would be great if the people would jump back to us ;-)

Mine seit ein paar Wochen bei https://www.easymining.eu/ Litecoins und bin sowohl mit der Auszahlung, wie auch mit der Community sehr zufrieden. Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen.

I started in Nov '13 with two USB Block Eruptors, went over some Bitfurys, Redfurys, a BFL Jalapeno 8GH/s ant two Cubes. Now I am on 360 GH/s with two Ant S1 plus 100 GH/s with cloud mining (gives me the profit of about 40 GH/s after all the maintenanche and upkeep costs). And I'm also waiting for my 100 GH/s x1 from BA which will arrive about christmas 2483 I have the Ants pointed to https://bitminter.com/ and also started with about 1.3 MH/s Scrypt on https://www.easymining.eu/ltc/I try to have a zero-game with income and expenses.

Second."nobody in the right mind will keep doubling the hashrate of the network every month if they are loosing money. The hashrate of the network will keep growing only if the bitcoin value goes up again." I think this is only half true because when the price go down a lot of orders remains undelivered (same if the price go up) so the network difficulty don't follow the BTC price in real time but with a lot of delay.
+1 for this There are too many people outside which have free electricity or just can not calculate

By the time you get your unit, if you ever do..... it will mine about the same btc as you would with an toaster oven hooked up to the network.
Good idea, I have a toaster you can buy. It's a 54th generation toaster, so I know very well how this thing works This is the hottest toaster in the world. Once sold for 500 BTC, now on sale for just 200BTCI also host your pre-toasted bread for just 5 BTC per month. Edit after 5 Month: Ok, I got informed that this toaster doesn't have any network connection, therefor you get now a discount of 0.1m BTC

Just got my second Ant S1 working. As soon as I have the wireless antennas they will work outside for me (On a covered balcony, behind a sunshield and under a moscitonet)

Done!!
Multiple answers would be great. Or at least the option of having both, own hardware and cloud mining.
For the calculators: They are all just guessing. Due to the nature of difficulty adjustment you cant exactly say how much coins you will earn. But you sure must pick a calculator where difficulty jumps are included and adjustable.

It worked as I thought and as BITMAIN said. It just took a bit longer to confirm my payment. After 7h I see my order now as Paid / Unshipped / Valid Thanks for your work BITMAIN, good to see that there are trustworthy companies in the miningbusiness.

I alsp ordered today, paid within 10 min. My order also shows now expired. But what I heard they are on their way to confirm the payment. Also if the site is not up to date. And anyway, if I buy something on ebay or in an online store it is possible that I don't hear anything for days.
I'm looking forward Bitmain can confirm all payments that are made and ships as relialbe as ever.

No the S1 was not overclocked when I tried, what do you mean by doesn't power both blades from the same 12V string ? Are you refering to using only wires that come directly from inside the PSU and are not chained to other wires ?
On my PSU I have 2 PCIe-8 outputs which are splitted into 2 PCIe-6 connectors (Output 1 + 2 with connectors 1.1 / 1.2 / 2.1 / 2.1). I can not power both blades of the S1 from the same output. I have to put one blade on output 1 and the other on output 2.

Do you OC your S1? I actually run my on an 580W Bequiet PSU ( http://www.bequiet.com/en/powersupply/282) with 564W on 2*2 PCIE Connectors and it works fine as long as I doesn't power both blades from the same 12V string. You only have 444W on your 12V, so it should run in theory, but perhaps your S1 needs more power to start. You can try to underclock it or (what I would suggest) try a more powerfull PSU.

I have my S1 direct beside my desk. It is pretty silent. I would say about the noise of a normal desktop computer. My cube was way louder. Only the changes in fanspeed are kind of annoying (from the noise-side. For power consumption it is good of course)
