1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: HELP - INVALID TRANSACTION? on: February 09, 2021, 06:33:33 PM
Just now i send some coins to my node, will try RBF in next minutes-hours  Cool Grin

Hope that every think will be fine. 9 days waiting... But good waiting, thanks to Elon Musk
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: HELP - INVALID TRANSACTION? on: February 09, 2021, 05:42:53 PM
It is valid. Due to the influx in transaction volume, the mempool size for Blockchain.info has presumably increased. As a result, the minimum fees for it to be entered into their mempool/block explorer has increased. They evicted your transaction from your mempool which isn't of any concern but it's wrong to display it as invalid.

If you do an RBF with sufficient fees, it will definitely be confirmed within a reasonable period of time. 1 satoshi/vbyte probably won't make the cut for a long time.

Thanks mate, thats what i where thinking. Elon Musk actions scared me xD
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / HELP - INVALID TRANSACTION? on: February 09, 2021, 05:24:03 PM
Hello people, i have a doubt. I made a transaction 9 days ago with low fee.

Today i check blockchain and it says that the transaction is invalid:

https://www.blockchain.com/es/btc/tx/fae6255a76c1289b00853a90025a0f89495fd0c4ebadf4a0b2a2c1201514ddb4

But if i check on blockchair.com, it says that is unconfirmed, not invalid.

https://blockchair.com/bitcoin/transaction/fae6255a76c1289b00853a90025a0f89495fd0c4ebadf4a0b2a2c1201514ddb4

What do you think?  if i RBF this transaction will be confirmed?
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: HELP, transaction ID on blockchain explorers DONT APEAR :( on: February 01, 2021, 07:04:39 PM
I just restored the node, and now i see the fist transaction (fae6255a76c1289b00853a90025a0f89495fd0c4ebadf4a0b2a2c1201514ddb4).

Can i do something to speed up node synchronization? I dont want to wait 1-2 weeks to full sync for send btc for RBF this transaction... I want to spend my moneeeeyyyyyy  Cool Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

But the first transaction dissapear when i use zapwallettxes. The 1º transaction dissapear and the amount of btc back to my wallet. And then i do an other transaction. And this second transaction dont apear for the moment in any explorer

And the first transaction is still in block explorers even though it's not in your wallet?

I have a feeling that is the one which will be confirmed, so you should close Core and launch it again with -rescan to display the old transaction again. The coins all being there in your node may be a false indicator caused by a stale blockchain state.

Yes, the 1st transaction its in block explorers: fae6255a76c1289b00853a90025a0f89495fd0c4ebadf4a0b2a2c1201514ddb4

I think will wait and dont do nothing today xD I dont have idea about what will happend
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: HELP, transaction ID on blockchain explorers DONT APEAR :( on: February 01, 2021, 01:09:46 PM
I dont use RBF because i send all the coins of the node, thats why i use zapwallettxes

Ah, so you don't have any bitcoins left to bump the fee with. Is there any chance you can send some more from another wallet to your node and use that to bump the fee of your first transaction?

But the first transaction dissapear when i use zapwallettxes. The 1º transaction dissapear and the amount of btc back to my wallet. And then i do an other transaction. And this second transaction dont apear for the moment in any explorer
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: HELP, transaction ID on blockchain explorers DONT APEAR :( on: February 01, 2021, 01:01:46 PM
In the second transaction, i  pay  0.00011580 BTC fee (661 bytes)

Yes mate, i think i cant do nothing more than wait...

That means in you paid about 17.5 satoshis/byte. It's not much better in terms of priority but given that is still hasn't appeared on block explorers, I'd agree that the second transaction has been rejected.

-zapwallettxes will only remove the transaction from your node and it can't remove them from other nodes which have downloaded this transaction from you.

Why don't you use RBF to bump the fee on the other transaction and send it to the other address?

I dont use RBF because i send all the coins of the node, thats why i use zapwallettxes
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: HELP, transaction ID on blockchain explorers DONT APEAR :( on: February 01, 2021, 12:45:51 PM

I've made a mistake and sent a transaction with low fees, and it's stuck for more than 24 hours in the mempool with 0 confirmation.

So I've started my bitcoin-qt with option '-zapwallettxes=1', and it cleared my unconfirmed transaction from my wallet.

Then I've sent a new transaction to a different address but with a higher fee (dynamically calculated), the transaction appears on my bitcoin-qt client, but if I search for its transaction id on blockchain explorers, e.g. blockchain.info, it says that this transaction doesn't exists.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Can you see the first trnasaction in blockexplorer? How much sat/byte did you use (fee rate)?

Maybe you will have to have to wait a few days, but this first transaction will most likely be confirmed. I am making a lot of 1 sat byte transactions with no problems... 4-5 days at the most

In the second transaction, i  pay  0.00011580 BTC fee (661 bytes)

Yes mate, i think i cant do nothing more than wait...

10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: HELP, transaction ID on blockchain explorers DONT APEAR :( on: February 01, 2021, 12:42:27 PM
Since you created 2nd transaction manually (and assumption where both transaction uses same input) rather than use RBF feature, most likely many nodes have old transaction on their mempool, which cause your 2nd transaction rejected.

Have you tried to search address on your wallet on blockexplorer and see whether it has unconfirmed transaction which you cleared with -zapwallettxes=1?

First, thanks everybody for the suport  Grin

No, i dont check  blockexplorer, i never do that on my node
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: HELP, transaction ID on blockchain explorers DONT APEAR :( on: February 01, 2021, 12:15:10 PM
When you search up the other transaction ID on blockchair.com, is the field 'Replace-by-fee (RBF) enabled' YES or NO?

Yes mate, both transaction  with RBF active
