1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which ICO would you suggest for February and March? on: February 13, 2018, 05:22:00 PM
Hi everyone! I've been reading all the top altcoin discussions and blockchain news around 4 or 5 months. Now I feel like I'm ready to get some practice Cool

My friend knows a bit more in trading, so we decided to invest together from the start. In February we plan to spend around $10k to buy different tokens. The same in March. We don't plan to get "easy money" or something like that, so we will reject any spammy or overadvertised projects. Projects with huge pre-sale discounts will be also rejected.

We're looking for long-term projects aimed to change some existing industry with blockchain. I'm gonna to check every project mentioned in the newsfeed, in this topic, and in every trustworthy list like ICOrating. For now we decided to start from Telecom and Marketing Automation areas.

Of course we all do our own researches. However, I believe that together we will be able to guard ourselves from scam/crap and find real brilliants in blockchain ocean.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

Selected for February (Feb 9th)
1 https://bubbletone.io — Graphene smarcontracts aimed to eliminate mobile roaming fees. The same phone number around the world. Mobile tarification by local prices anywhere. Working prototype, strong team. Dublin, Ireland.
2 http://grain.io — simplifying smartcontracts for work agreements
3 https://remme.io — unbreakable, foolproof user authentication to protect your users, employees, and company’s data from cyber attacks.
4 https://www.policypal.network — Insurance for the Unbanked and Cryptoassets.

Don't be quite if you see a suspiciuous one!

Selected for March
Global economy
1 TON cryptocurrency. WP: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1oaKoJDWvhtlvtQEuqxgfkUHcI5np1t5Q/view
2 https://omnitude.tech/ — helps to evolve mass adoption of cryptocurrencies
3 https://www.globalicofund.com — interesting whitepaper, but doubtful token
4 http://basisneuro.com/ — neurointerfaces. Just interesting concept for future

Data simplification
https://daneel.io — helps with trading decision making

Declined (let us know if we're wrong!)
1 https://qlink.mobi/ — Decentralized Mobile Network. This is a mix of several services, including new cryptocurrency. Seems unfocused.
2 Tutellius.io — great concept, poor tokensale model. We won't participate in any tokensale with such a big presale discount
3 https://experty.io/ — the app aimed to monetize expert's time and efforts. More than just marketplace. Great concept also, but we don't believe in business model
4 https://valid.global/ — control on your personal data. We don't think the business model is viable
5 https://vinchain.io/ The whole Truth about a Vehicle’s History on a Blockchain. The model is not viable (opinion)
6 NTOK.io — Blockchain online education platform. Idea is great but business model doesn't seem viable
7 https://adhive.tv — Marketing. AI-controlled influencer marketing platform. This is great, but mixes 2 young technologies. We think it's better to choose: AI or blockchain?
8 https://www.gilgameshplatform.com — a self-governing, knowledge-sharing social network platform powered by Ethereum smart contracts. Great concept. Too far from business reality imo.
9 https://www.wepower.network/ (EU), https://hydrocoin.org/ (EU), https://kwhcoin.com/ (US, CA) — green energy trading platforms. All the green energy trading are being considered as too risky for now because of the lack of viable usecases.
10 https://www.arcblock.io/ — overadvertised, scam accusations
11 IQeon — not clear blockhain usage. Promises of income in fiat money while remain anonimity
12 https://www.sooloox.com/ — Monetizing customer's data. We concluded that customer's data is already stolen by global corporations, nobody is interested to buy it.
13 Aktie.Social, Fabric, ClearCoin, Gonetwork — we don't invest in spammy advertised projects
14 https://token.gimmer.net/ — trading automation. It's just one more Telegram bot for trading
15 www.aitheon.com — The digital ecosystem simplifying your world through A.I., robotic, and human symbiosis. The problem exists only in imagination of some people. We don't think the projects is meaningful
16 https://en.worldwifi.io/ (Singapore), https://iungo.network/ (Estonia, EU) — Free WiFi Powered by blockchain. Share Wi-Fi, Earn tokens, see spammy ads in order to use WiFi for free. We don't think the business model is viable. Spammy ads are from the past. The future is about seamless native advertising integrations
17 https://blocksims.io/ — free mobile services. The same spammy ads model.

thanks for the list. https://bubbletone.io caught my attention based as they are based in Ireland. But it seems that the most of the team is actually based in Russia. Not that I have anything against it but I find it somewhat annoying.

This is my first post so please i don't want to annoy anyone but the websites looks quite bad.

The layout is messy, some stock photos used, some photos and pie charts are streched and look out of focus, the table looks terrible and so on.

Not saying that the project is rubbish and not legit, but the website looks like some school assignments rather than a part of a serious project.
