1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN][TIPS] FedoraCoin - Euphoria - Enlightenment - Intelligence on: December 22, 2013, 01:47:17 PM
How to get my Fedoracoin wallet address?  Huh

I have compiled mine in ubuntu... and true enough the wallet is a rushed fork of the DOGE wallet

There's a reason we didn't release the Qt client yet, mainly because I hadn't been able to compile it and edit it. Luckily we've managed to get through that now and the edited version is now up on github.
A windows build will be available soon

Just recompiled it. Works fine now sans-DOGE.

Pool is down?

The frontend is down... the pools are working for me, luckly I have set up an auto-payout threshold to my wallet.

72 hrs is a rough estimate, they are probably hammering out some of the details.

That being said, I am a bit anxious to get back to trading myself.

Does anyone know where Coinex is based?

Godspeed Coinex

It depends on the how you want to invest it.

Bitcoin is the strongest and most popular currency, it may oscillate but prices are bound to come back to a stable spot. It is probably going to become more valuable as it becomes more popular.  So if you want a safe place to park your coins, bit coin is probably what you are looking for.

Litecoin is less popular, so it is hard to find places where you can buy stuff or change back into cash. There is a lot of room for growth but the road is probably going to be bumpy.  Litecoin is a higher risk long term investment.

Other alt coins can also be invested but you need to watch them closely, it is not a bad idea to stock on a few cheap currencies and see how they develop.

The higher the risk, the higher the rewards.
