For me, I think I have had the best luck with Bytecoin on MinerGate. With a newer laptop, you can mine like 10 bytecoin a day. Not bad considering how slow most of the other coins are with a laptop.

I know of a handful who have held their majority since 2014. I believe that many of the BTC holders have cashed out some for a fiat such as USD.

2018 is the year to invest...and 2019...and 2020...and so on. This technology isn't going away any time soon and its only going to get better and have better coins come out of it. Bitcoin is in no way the last coin to reach the 10k mark. But I would suggest investing in anonymous coins as they are the future.

Yes, there are a lot of scammers out on Twitter. When I first got real into crypto, I almost fell for a fake message that came from an account that copied the name and picture of a CEO of one of the coins and it said they'd send 3 ETH if I sent them a little bit. Now it sounds crazy that people would even think about this but it happens and almost got me. Twitter needs to fix this asap!

It is never too late to make money until you take your last breath...but even then, you can make money you just can't spend it.
Over the years, from stocks to cryptos, from the dot com era to the blockchains, I have always had FOMO and have missed out on many. First, I was going to buy 50,000 shares of Yahoo. I decided against it and it skyrocketed. Now its just ok and this big thing called google has taken over. I missed many stocks and always thought it was my last big break, Then in 2012 my son said get in on bitcoin and I passed it up again not understanding the technology. Now, I will not let it happen again and am buying good anonymous cryptos like deep onion. And someday bitcoin will be replaced by a better coin just like yahoo was back in the day with google.
Is it too late to invest? NEVER

I believe that, as the governments increase regulations on coins, the coins that will succeed will be the anonymous coins such as Deep Onion, NAV, Spectre, Zero and Evil. I am not sure how long bitcoin will reign as the king of coins but I highly doubt that it will be forever. And that is the beauty of this blockchain technology is that there will always be "up-and-coming" killer cryptos that will show promise.
My top bet at the current is DEEP ONION. I think that it will be a $500 to $1000 coin in the next year or two.

I have some Deep Onion, Zero and Nav. Of these three (or any others I didn't name) what would you consider the best bang for your buck and the coin that could possibly take over a top 10 spot? I was also thinking, what happens when the USA and other countries start to regulate BTC and crypto....do you think that most people will transfer their coin assets into an anonymous coin like Deep Onion? If so, these coins will get HUGE.

For me, I'd say Litecoin. Ripple seems like a joke and the fact that its circulating supply is so large makes me sick. Between the two, Litecoin is going to be better in the long run IMO and ripple is going to do just that....ripple like when a rock hits the water it creates a ripple that is short lived. I could be wrong.

I am not a crypto pro but usually when you see a coin that has like price 75% gains for the last 24 hours and only has like $324 dollars in volume....that drives me nuts but there will always be scams and it makes it hard for me to decipher between a coin that may be legit but just not have a lot of publicity yet or a coin that has two or three jerkoffs trading coins to pump it up.

Crypto is truly volatile at the moment including the numeral uno Bitcoin. When you can drop from 17k to around 5k you will never be the world's coin. I think once the prices level off and the big drops end crypto will be the go to technology. And if Bitcoin were to crash, I agree with some of the other members that it would be a BUY SESSION. I would buy a bunch but at the same time would feel bad for those who may have held millions in bitcoin and now only hold $500 bucks.
