1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is blockbuster technology a good career for a student on: September 28, 2018, 01:41:08 PM
Blockchain Technology is a Great Technology We all know about it We know that in which field it can work What do you all think about it for a student Technology will prove to be a good career

Yes! Although I am not into tech and programming, I have 5 reasons to believe blockchain is a great career choice for students.
Here they are:

1. Many industries are starting to search for the ways of adopting the blockchain system into their operations. It's not necessary for the industry to be related with crypto currencies. Even the medical industry is now integrating the blockchain technology.

2. There is a huge demand and shortage for the blockchain developers. This means, that the salary ranges for the related job positions will be extremely high.

3. In general, the IT field has great perspectives for the junior professionals. Blockchain is a part of it, so there will be lots of amazing growth opportunities for the candidates.

4. It's super interesting. The technology is getting developed, so there always something new to learn and practice.

5. You can develop your own products on blockchain. For instance, you can write a DAPP for Ethereum and start making money from the so-called smart contracts.

Good luck!  Cool
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: HODLing will get you nowhere on: September 19, 2018, 07:44:20 PM
I think I have to agree with you on this since holding has been the tool in the past, not for the future.

To make real money, people need to actively invest, trade and mine different coins simultaneously.

It's not an easy task though, since lots of sophisticated math, calculations and statistics is involved.

So make some good money out of the crypto business, a decent amount computational power needs to be involved to get the things done (make correct calculations).

Luckily, distributed computing is getting into this, so ordinary people without specific technical knowledge can enjoy the benefits of the market (although a solid investment needs to be made).  Roll Eyes

Good luck with HODling!
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you use Bitcoin as a practical currency? on: September 10, 2018, 06:58:10 PM
Hello All, I have a question.
If I want to use bitcoin as practical or daily currency then what should I do?
Is American express or VISA offer such kind of opportunity so far?
I am very excited to read something special here: https://reliable.cash/t/can-you-use-bitcoin-as-a-practical-currency/33
Specially these are amazing to me:

Quote
There are many reasons for bitcoin to be not used as a practical currency. Some are listed here.

  • Some users lack the infrastructure required to use bitcoin
Some users lack the knowledge required to use bitcoin
It will not be a good solution for day to day purchase
It takes time to process a transaction that is why it is not practical at all
Not many stores accept bitcoin as a payment either online or offline
    Stability in pricing
Strong network infrastructure required for its payment to process

Now I want to purchase my Pizza using Bitcoin Cheesy
What do you think brothers?

As already discussed, the bank payment options can't handle bitcoin for now. I don't even think they will in the future, because most of the banks consider bitcoin as a strong competitor (which is partially true).
However, here is how you can use bitcoin as a practical currency:
- Make payments online. Just set up your digital wallet and make payments wherever bitcoin is an option. Even if you have BTC on your account but can't make a payment, you can exchange your BTC into the preferred currency and make payments with it.
- Use bitcoin ATMs. They are available in around 60 countries of the world.
- Make payments via bitcoin terminals. Thousands of merchants now accept bitcoin payments in the stores. You just make the payment (e.g. using your mobile wallet) via the bitcoin terminals.

Good luck!  Cool
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is it true that bitcoin is a disaster for local banks on: September 07, 2018, 11:43:30 AM
I heard the news, that banks are afraid of bitcoin and can replace banks, because the excess of bitcoin is much compared to local banks

Actually, one of the benefits of bitcoin is easy the experience users struggle with international and local banking transfers. It’s more about the blockchain technology, not bitcoin. Banks have started adopting blockchain and they will highly benefit from it. Furthermore, the mainstream bank clients don’t trust bitcoin so I would not expect a major shift in this regard.
Nevertheless, my personal conviction is that blockchain and bitcoin are always about opportunities, not limitations!
5  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Family planning on: February 27, 2018, 01:02:05 PM
Do family planning help decrease the population growth in our country?

I don't think people generally follow any social family planning strategy. They just plan their families according to their budget and needs. However, in most of the European and American countries, I have noticed the tendency, that people don't plan more than one kid (on average), which is, I think, good for controlling over-population.

That's my personal biased imagination!  Smiley
6  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: To be JrMember, 6 weeks later ?? on: February 27, 2018, 12:31:06 PM
"To be JrMember, required activity = 30."

"There is a maximum of 14 activity points every 2 weeks."

6 weeks are so long time in this world. Aren't it?  Cry

If I am not mistaken, I became Jr Member in two weeks or so (if I am not mistaken), I got 14 points in one week, and the next 14 during the second week. The third week, 2 posts brought me Jr Member. Not sure if that's the correct calculation, but it was not 6 weeks (for sure). Unfortunately, my account got banned because of excessive posting...  Undecided
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Girls in the world of crypto currency on: February 09, 2018, 06:26:54 PM
I am telling my GF about it, she wants to learn more to make it as a passive income option for our joint budget. But I have to admit that I am doing almost everything on my own, and she is just making my coffee and providing me emotional support.  Sad

Else, she is also stressing how perspective this field is, is sharing some success stories and encouraging me to go on!  Cheesy

That's how my GF is involved in the crypto market these days  Smiley
8  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is Your Favorite YouTube Channel? on: February 09, 2018, 06:14:29 PM
Joe Leno's garage! I just relax from this crypto craziness by watching his series or classic and new cars, his comments, and guest stores on how they recovered their legend cars. I recommend all car enthusiasts watch that!  Wink

One small tip: watch it with a burger or hot dog, I do with a hot dog and that makes me feel American! Make your hot dog extra spicy (if you like).  Wink
9  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is recovering on: February 09, 2018, 06:04:08 PM
I think the panic was highly caused by the Bloomberg post on China banning cryptocurrency trading and banning the crypto exchange websites in that country. Imagine how many people might have reacted to that.

I am just wondering who stands behind such news, who pays them and who manipulates them. Oh, wait, I know! The big whales do!  Angry

Anyways, it seems that the market is recovering but we can't be 100% sure that something like that does not happen again.  Undecided

10  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Tell me a way money can buy you happiness on: February 09, 2018, 05:51:33 PM
You may treat this as a joke, but it's not! Why are you on this forum? To learn about bitcoin and probably make some income while trading or mining, right? So imagine you realize that BTC is a long-term investment option, if you invest now, in future 2-3 years you may possibly increase your income (significantly)! So you invest in BTC and 2-3 years you become very rich.

Is that not happiness? Is that not an initiative that you took (by entering the cryptocurrency market), researched, understood, made predictions and became a successful investor? To me, an initiative that I take which turns out being effective is a big happiness. To make it work, you also need to invest money there.

Is that not buying happiness? Maybe it is not, BUT, it is investing in happiness!  Wink
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will XRP hit $10 in 2018? on: February 09, 2018, 05:10:41 PM
Thanks guys for your thoughts and ideas, especially for the part of decentralization. But I think it had to collapse in that case, because if all principles are against blockchain, then it should have collapsed or decreased to at least $0.1, $0.001, $0.0001 and lower? How does that reflect the price because the crash that happened was mainly due to the overall market crash, and not XRP being downrated?  Huh

What do you think?
12  Other / Off-topic / Re: Self-education. on: February 09, 2018, 04:47:46 PM
Yup and I can tell it's more effective because you teach yourself exactly those skills that you will need in your workplace.

I bet you know MOOCs. Let me tell you this, I have already accomplished 1 BA and 2 Master's degrees, BUT, the courses on Edx and Coursera are much better than any university subject. Sometimes, I want to give all my cryptocurrency saving to the guy that implemented that idea!

Just brilliant!   Cheesy
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do we have an impact? on: February 09, 2018, 04:30:42 PM
The real manipulators are:

big whales,
politicians,
media.

Big whales pouring much money, politicians making announcements on banning cryptocurrencies, media spreading all that and making the noise. This is how it is!  Undecided
14  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is now a good time to buy some BTC? on: February 09, 2018, 02:40:46 PM
This was a healthy, very healthy market correction, it made the coins to go really down, BUT, as always happens, correction is always followed by a growth, and sometimes a big growth. So investing now will help you become rich AGAIN. If you are looking for other good investment options that will benefit from this correction, consider ETH and LTC. I am going with the safest options, but you can definitely add your own preferences. Just remember, this is not a financial advise, but an argument based on tested experience!  Cool

Good luck!
15  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: From what to start? on: February 09, 2018, 02:27:17 PM
Let me stress this first:

it is not easy to make money when you are a newbie. Neither you will get rich faster.

My personal conviction is that the cryptocurrency market is a long-term investment platform, and the brightest years are ahead to come, but not very soon. So, the safest option would be to invest now and wait for a year to two. BUT, do your own research, because all professional cryptocurrency traders have their own strategies and techniques that work for them and may not work for you. Thus, do your research, identify your preferences, the coins you like, the budget, time and efforts you can dedicate, and so on. Remember, it always takes some time to jump in and see what's where.

So, now you have my investment advice, as well as a tip on where to start from! Good luck!  Wink
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin loses its popularity ? on: February 09, 2018, 02:15:01 PM
It is not a loss of popularity, it is just market correction that usually happens followed by a big growth. That's the process when the market reacts to things it is reluctant to. Here is a list of events that made the prices crash:

Chinese New Year.
Many people in China sold their cryptos to cover the New Year expenses.
China threatening to ban cryptocurrencies.
Worldwide banks blocking cryptocurrency transactions through their Credit/Debit cards.

Those events made the marked to crash but not collapse, it is recovering now and will get back stronger and better!  Wink
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Will XRP hit $10 in 2018? on: February 09, 2018, 01:56:42 PM
Ok, so why did XRP suddenly hit $3 (and above) in 2017 and went down? I would go with the theory saying that it reached high because banks and businesses shared their positive feedback about XRP. However, the actual adoption and the further domino effect might take 5 to 10 years, but it will (since XRP has already proved to be a reliable tool for cheaper and faster global transactions that can be effectively used by big enterprises). The question is when and how fast they will adopt the new xCurrent framework that takes the process to the next step. Once they do, the domino effect cannot be avoided and the price will hit even above $10. The question is when and how fast. That's why I am pushing for XRP being a long-term investment option now.
18  Other / Off-topic / Re: Being a Vlogger on: February 05, 2018, 05:25:54 PM
Being a vlogger is good in case you enjoy it and also make some money from it. You can post whatever you want, but the question is will your audience be interested in it? Thus, it is important to choose a topic that addresses a particular issue for a particular audience. Or a topic that can be of a general interest, like traveling, cars, lifestyle, fitness, etc. If you manage to grow a big audience, YouTube will start paying you and also some companies will be interested in giving you ads as you will be considered a video influencer.  Cool

I can't see any disadvantage of vlogging, because people consider it as a hobby, and hobbies are always fun. So, think about something fun that you enjoy doing (if you really want and feel like vlogging).  Cheesy
19  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The best strategy to buy cryptocurrencies on: February 05, 2018, 04:17:22 PM
I don't think that someone can tell a 100% secure and accurate cryptocurrency buying and trading strategy, because it simply does not exist, but there are some steps that can bring you closer to some progress:

1. Research the cryptocurrencies you want to invest in.
2. Find out at least 5 coins that you would like to invest in (diversifying your wallet is one of the major rules of successful trading).
3. Figure out the exchanges you can buy cryptocurrencies from (there are many of them but the rates change frequently, so check the rates to pick up the most profitable option).
4. Buy the cryptocurrencies and store in a secure wallet (selecting a secure wallet is also important, because some of them may be scam willing to steal your funds).
5. Store and wait.

Patience is one of the most important points here, because you have to know that you won't get rich overnight. So be patient, don't get disappointed when the prices fall, just follow all of the updates and trade whenever you think you will get some profit. And, of course, never stop researching!  Wink

Good luck!
20  Other / Off-topic / Re: Your job / study backgroud.. and how much you earn on: February 05, 2018, 03:59:18 PM
That's a good reason behind your post, but imagine that there are diplomats, lawyers, musicians, artists and even taxi drivers using this forums. I am in the 2nd category, but I know people corresponding the rest of the professions I listed above.  Cool

I think the background does not matter much for cryptocurrencies, because it is a new field and everyone can learn and start trading. For your further reference, I can also add, that I know people from banks and government interested in cryptocurrencies (but they don't speak about that much), professors, singers, even hairdressers. However, I was quite surprised when I my friend's GF asked about cryptos, as she is currently a pole dancer (with a lower IQ).  Grin

P.S. I am not arguing that pole dancers have lower IQ, it's just about her.  Wink
