My thinking on this, in theory, is similar to how Blu-Ray Discs and HDDVDs competed. Some were certain HDDVD would be the top competitor, but in the end it was Blu-Ray that beat out and became the accepted norm. Same with Myspace and Facebook, Youtube and Veoh in 2005, etc. There are so many examples of this.

I remember hearing about Crypto-Currency, specifically bitcoin, around late 2010 from another user on a forum I frequented.
I looked into it for a bit and loved the concept, but never bought in. I forgot about it pretty soon after. Lesson learned.

I am currently investing in BTC, but also in LTC.
Who will be the outstanding winner? I'm not sure yet.

Either way- the concepts are extraordinary.
