1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CryptoDredge 0.6.0: ‎NVIDIA GPU Miner (Windows) on: July 10, 2018, 12:31:03 PM

2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CryptoDredge 0.6.0: ‎NVIDIA GPU Miner (Windows) on: July 10, 2018, 03:21:44 AM
CryptoDredge is faster for phi2  but crashes for me alot. I had to stop using it. I get hard crashes that lock the rig up and needs a reboot. Had to go back to z-enemy which runs fine no crashes. I tried everything with CryptoDredge. I changed intensity, i removed overclocking, the last try i had no overclocking and intensity 4. It worked for about 4hrs and then hard crash cuda error unspecified launch failure.

Wow that is a big jump for sure. I hope you know or understand the crypto market well. It will take some time at current pricing to get your money back. Everyone hopes for a price jump again like we had in January but its all speculative.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Network Attack on XVG / VERGE on: April 07, 2018, 05:05:02 AM
The attack still must be going on. There are still a ton of orphaned blocks right now on Yiimp.

This is getting old fast. I'm done mining this
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Network Attack on XVG / VERGE on: April 04, 2018, 05:02:04 PM
Thanks ocminer for letting us all know what is going on.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GPU mining will die in 2018! on: March 22, 2018, 06:57:17 PM
I wish bitmain and asics would just die off. Hopefully more coins and devs will continue to make them asic proof for the future.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: I'm calling it crypto is dead in 2018...the crypto hype has died like disco did on: March 21, 2018, 03:13:34 PM
No doubt there are alot more big players mining more then ever. Smaller guys like me struggle to make some $$$ but you can make some you just have to hold and sell on the upswing. If you are selling now then you are losing.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: I'm glad I didn't buy any more video cards, a 1080ti barley makes $1 a day on: March 21, 2018, 02:58:05 PM
There are too many large farms and businesses getting involved in Mining. It pretty much is making us little people obsolete in it.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ripple and XRP are partnering with many banks, why does the price keep falling. on: March 15, 2018, 03:33:56 PM
Every coin is still tied to what BTC does in the end. Until some of these coins can break free from BTC dependency they will all follow the rise and fall of BTC.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GTX 1060 discussion thread on: March 15, 2018, 03:32:00 PM
I think its bad to invest that much money in crypto mining in general right now. The profit isn't high enough to get that return.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining , still worth it? on: March 15, 2018, 03:25:50 PM
It is worth it if you don't take a loan and dump all your money into it as a full time job. If you have a full time job and the cash to spend just do this as a hobby to make extra cash it is still worth it. The huge miners is what hurts the little guys anyways.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Google to BAN crypto advertising-includes Youtube on: March 14, 2018, 07:49:55 PM
Why would youtube block cryptocurrency videos? People making videos and having users watch them is how youtube makes money.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining , still worth it? on: March 13, 2018, 07:04:17 PM
Mining to me nowadays is if you want to hold onto a coin in hopes that it will one day go up in value and you can make some cash on it. If you think your going to mine and cash out daily then good luck you will take a long time to pay off your investment.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What is your electric rate? on: March 06, 2018, 01:56:39 AM
I am in Michigan and i pay .135 for the first 17kw/h per day and then .15 after that. There are some new plans that might reduce my rates so i might be trying those soon. I wish i had that cheap power some of you get.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Why do you small timers even bother? on: February 28, 2018, 03:20:30 AM
Its obvious alot of people are jaded on here and want you to quit mining so they can get more profits. People need to chill out and let us small time miners have some fun.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Octominer Review - 8x Riserless GPU Rig Build - Build Crypto Miner in ~15 min on: February 25, 2018, 11:27:02 PM
I bought 1 full rig from the March batch. Excited to try it out and see how it all goes. If it works well I will be buying more.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GPU'S on: February 25, 2018, 06:15:55 PM
Everywhere I read the video card shortage is all over. I don't think your going to be able to find legit cards in bulk anywhere right now.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Ventilation - Is this going to work? on: February 21, 2018, 03:11:25 AM
In the Datacenter I work at we keep relative humidity at 38-42% any more or less can be hazardous to the equipment. I have seen motherboards fry from static shock in dry environments.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GPU fans started failing, had to improvise a little on: February 21, 2018, 03:08:04 AM
I have found that the EVGA fans are the best. They seem to run forever and they are quiet.
