Hi guys! I am new to VEIL.
I have downloaded the windows wallet from the website, installed it and let it fully sync which took a long time. After that I tried sending 1 coin from GRAVIEX exchange and got a error message in GRAVIEX.
I did it by using the QR code from the receiving tab in the wallet GUI but nothing has happened so far. I did notice the receiving address in GRAVIEX is way shorter than the receiving address in the wallet itself, is that normal?

you need to go to settings ----> advance settings----> go to console----> type "getnewbasecoinaddress"....... use that address to receive coins in wallet.... |

Hi, so good news is i got my FIRST EVER staking reward in a month .....and the bad news is my wallet STOPPED SYNCING.... latest version wallet
And with me, the latest version stops working. Unfortunately, I do not know which the previous version did to me well. I need to manually restart the wallet. Unfortunately, I can not restarting wallet constantly. Talk to "Dango" in discord support team ....he will help you out ...helped me fix syncing issue ...before that he fixed my staking issues ....so far so good .... |

Hey guys,
Keep in mind there are people staking with many thousands of coins at this point. Staking with several hundred may take some time.
If you're having problems, or would like to engage with staff members, submitting a help ticket or jumping on Discord would be the better bet for you.
I did jump to discord and according to them i need fast CPU to get staking reward ...thats just stupid ....they didnt mention about having a faster CPU for staking rewards anywhere ...So its stupid of me to stake it on my $**** workstation... Hi; Did they mention which or what kind CPU is fast enough? Kind regards They gave me this reply a week back ...i talked with support team on discord today and according to them my wallet is unable to mint my coins automatically (wallet error)...They made me mint my coins manually for zero-coin's....which worked out for me .... Try talking to guys named "Dango" on discord support team ....really helpful .... still hoping they would fix all wallet issues really soon... Manually minting coins is just like " we can have same amount of zero-coin as many veil coins we got "...eg: if i got 400 veil coins ...by minting manually , i can have exact 400 zero-coins. we cant call that as "STAKING" ...but anyhow..better than having something than nothing |

staking unconfirmed for a long time  1.0.1.3 wallet How you are getting staking rewards man ?.... i have been staking since 25 days and nothing .... how many coins your staking ? i am staking 400 coins and still nothing... |

Wow. Sounds like Proof of Work embedded in Proof of State. Isn't the point of PoS to not require processing power and to be fair to holders of the same staking weight? I wonder if the team explained this issue to everyone or are keeping it low profile. 200 coins can take a long time to win, and all u need is a decent cpu, rpi wont work, it’s more like a baseline than needing the best cpu. if u win u get 50 coins, not sure how fast you are expecting to gain 25% extra coins. I have seen people hitting it off for less than 100 coins ...i dont expect ...i am more of a fact guy ...my issue is they should have freaking mentioned somewhere about having a processing power for staking... and here i was thinking "i am doing wrong, thats why it isnt staking "...faith is good but blind faith isnt ...i still say project is good but bad management of a good project is not ... i mean com'on they cant even get their wallet working properly ... which should be the first thing on their "FIX LIST" ...i still believe in this project but not until management takes some good firm actions regarding all issues... All pools are down. Explorer down. My wallet still report about successful POS, but no any rewards till now. I have Core I5 6600K, I think its good enough for fast work.
Wery wery bad start. Hiding head in the sand from community, teem can lost support. Honor like virginity - lost only once. Please give us a clearly reports what happening, we will support you. Other way you can bury Veil at all.
they need to shut down pools and wallets for time being and come with fully functional wallet and pools... i am honestly done with all this crap ... let me know everything fuctions the way it should ....Ba bye... btw you guys should have informed earlier if staking works on CPU power and all ....disappointing....Bad way of managing a good project...NOT A HATER ...just disappointed...PEACE!!! |

Suprnova and Veilmine mining pools are up, but please note that we are still waiting to hear back from our devs regarding the forking issues. We will post an update in our social media once we have more information.
Wat about wallet issues?? My wallet isn't syncing ....I did a transaction of 50 coins yesterday which can't be seen in my wallet because it doesn't SYNC.... and got plenty more already in wallet ...help mate If you'd like to resync your wallet, please add the following to your config file: resync=1. But please remember to remove it from your config file after you've done syncing so that your wallet doesn't sync again the next time you open it. After you're done syncing, if you're noticing a discrepancy in your balance, please do the following console commands: rescanblockchain
getarchivedzerocoin
rescanzerocoinwallet
searchdeterministiczerocoin 0 10000 2* You can replace the 10000 value to an amount higher than the amount of Zerocoin you have. * searchdeterministiczerocoin can take some time to finish. The console will say "done" when it is done processing. If these solutions don't work or you are experiencing other issues, feel free to contact our support team through the Veil Discord #support channel or through the Veil Support Portal. "resync=1" didnt work for me ....so i went to %appdata%--->rename the "Veil" folder as "Veil.old".......than i restored the wallet using seeds ....and it got synced all file ..took some time to sync all blocks but its done ....(for people who has sync issue and "resync=1" didnt work ) |

Currently both mining pools are down until the current forking issues are resolved by our devs. For the time being, please redirect your mining rigs elsewhere until it becomes possible to mine Veil again. Our devs will be prioritizing this and working on it ASAP.
I'll be posting regular updates here to keep everyone up to date.
Name any alternate coin with same algo (x16rt) or any other pool which mines this coin.... certainly u dunno how miningrigrentals works ....  |

Hi i upgraded the wallet from v1.0.0.6 to v1.0.0.9.....worked fine yesterday ...synced properly and all but i opened it today and wallet isn't syncing anymore .....tried adding nodes you gave in .conf file ....that didnt work either ... i got plenty of coin in the wallet .....help plz

All of a sudden difficulty got too high to mine ....normally i get around 1.3-1.4 coins with 240 h/s and from last 4 hours i am getting 0.4 to 0.5

Hi , I have been trying to mine x16r using 1070ti and I am getting error "NO CONNECTION RETRYING AFTER 10 SEC......" My internet has been working pretty well with all other miners and I am already using my 1060 6gb rig to mine x16r using T-rex...and that's working good....dunno wats the issue ...please help!!!
