Thanks for the thought but I don't think a configurable donation tier with a default of 5% is a significant deterrent. You need to be a reasonably competent Linux admin to use Minotaur in the first place, if we lose a few potential users because they were somehow daunted by the idea of changing a "5" to a "1" in a config file then that's probably a good thing because it means I won't have to deal with their support questions.
Also, Minotaur 0.9.8 was just released, new features:
- we now support dynamic calibration adjustment so the calibrated hashrates can fluctate over time and this is taken into account when making profitability decisions
- CSV stats collection
- summary report
