1  Economy / Trading Discussion / BTC-E and MtGox Trading Bots, Input Welcome on: December 11, 2013, 10:55:07 PM
Hi Guys

Over the past few months I've noticed several little startups being created to automate the trading of crypto currencies. I don't really blog/participate much in forums and all (except of course the BTC-e trollbox ;P) but the thing that really bugs me about these traders are the prices/ taxes we have to pay in order to use whatever software is on offer.

I've come up with a C#based alternative, which is free and open source. At the moment, its really non functional but I have a little POC code that I put together in about an hour and I thought I'd share this and see what people think.

The idea is to:

** Automate Buys and Sells as much as possible based on percentage gained or lost as indicated by the ticker
** Provide alerts if there is a massive trading dump on any coin you are following
** Make it easier for noobs to join the cryptcoin trade

My POC code is at the link below and a screenshot of one of the windows is also below. Any suggestions and comments are much appreciated !

Most say LTC is the silver to Bitcoin's Gold. The main difference (from a minor's POV) is the algorithm used in the blockchain.... for all other intents and purposes, its a cryptcoin as much as Bitcoins are !
