The easy answer is man up and stop wasting your time. I think for quiting such an "addiction"you actually need to get a replacement. Best options are physical activities like sports, gym or tourism in my opinion. Generally more healthy and pottentially as pleasant as your old time consumer

I think the tendency is to see less alts and ICO projects as people are growing more aware and knowedgable in general and it requires a lot of effort and a good project and developers' team to make a successful endeavour.

The 1st step is the most important: Do your own and most extensive research possible on the project you're contributing to!

These are precautious measures Google is taking because of the various regulations in different countries regarding crypto. For instance in USA ICO investing/contribution is illеgal as far as I know.

If you want to be responsible with your money you should read all the information available on your investments including the whitepaper on the project you're interested in.

ETH is by farm the better investment.

It's not the best time to invest in alts at the momment. However you can always find a nice spot if you do your own research.

The more info you can get on the project and developers' team the less likely you are to get involved on a scam
