Bitcoin users can be hacked. So do banks too. But recovering your lost account(if ever you have been hacked) in Bitcoin is imposible. Unlike in Banks, you can talk to a bank's customer service to solve your problem.

Hmmmm. Why can't he just help Microsoft be back to it's glory days against Apple and Google. The dominance of a smartphone is growing year by year yet Microsoft killed its beautifully own Windows Mobile. There's even a smartphone built for cryptocurency and now I see no sense why he is against it. He should've support it instead.

You still can do transactions abroad where Bitcoin isn't prohibited. But it is a bit hassle doing in other countries compared in your own country. You may need a lot of bank requirements( or if there are any bitcoin cashout machine) to cashout your money.

A digital currency that doesn't govern by a country or any banks.

At some point it does. Bitcoin has become the challenge to any banks because many people are losing trust with them. Even I feel that the banks do not understand and or addressed my necessities. Bitcoin pose a threat to government mainly because Bitcoin is rising and if they reject it, it could affect the country's economy. However, some government still feels calm with Bitcoin, primarily because it is still not widely adopted.

For me the challenges that Bitcoin is still facing is widely acceptance. Bitcoin isn't still widely used and some countries are even banning it. If some major online retailers will accept Bitcoin to be one of its payment system, it could be a big help on adoption of Bitcoin.
