1  Economy / Economics / Re: What Will it Take For BTC to Reach $1000? on: May 07, 2015, 09:49:44 PM
User adoption. Teach people how they can use bitcoin to buy things online and save money.
2  Other / Politics & Society / Re: [POLL] How would you describe yourself politically? on: January 11, 2014, 02:29:00 AM
The only ethical option: anarcho-capitalist.

Anyone making such thread and asking such question has lower than average IQ.
The tests are a joke.

so you are better than the elitist mensa people?

That is good joke. I wonder if anyone will get it

I could scan my MENSA diploma.
What do I get for my effort?

I guess no.

The enemy of your enemy is elimination of top-down control. China's ruling elite don't qualify.

I do not know what you are saying in the quote you provided about dogs, but this is what I was asking about in my first question. What if control on top starts to fight, American government and China government, but the people they control do not support them? What will outcome be? Well top control destroy each other while down controlled just watch? Will top control force those they control to fight, making them hate them more? Will American government use propaganda on Americans to make them support them again, like they did after 9/11, when American president was extremely unpopular, but then gained much popularity and support for things that lead to what Snowden has revealed? If this becomes a fight, I can not see how this fight will become.

I can prove my IQ. Here's my certificate.

This is American social security card you get when you get immigration citizenship, right? I am glad you remembered to hide your social security number on that.

Keep in mind that openly sharing your knowledge regarding these matters can render it useless if too many people start using it (especially if you decide to be very specific).

I would prefer strategies that will work independently, well enough to make it impossible for government to find out and stop. Not strategies like "keep your money in this persons bank, because we can trust him no to report," after which the person is found out and arrested. For example, how to buy through exchange without being noticed, how to buy food and sleeping place without converting bitcoin into bank money, how to trade without trade being noticed and needed to be reported by business. We have many libertarians and anarchists on this board. I am sure they have many strategies for how to evade taxes without being caught.

Later on, maybe such strategies will help with project I am working on.

Two questions I am now pondering.

1. The enemy of my enemy is my friend. American government is enemy of people, so if China starts fighting with America, even if China is also enemy of people, will that be bad? Even more importantly, what if American government starts to fight with China, while being unpopular with the people they rule? What are possible outcomes of that?

2. If all this spying was for private sector, I guess even in anarchocapitalist society, there will still always be spying. I guess that is to be expected, but is this spying better or worse than government spying? Government forces people, and can use information it learned from spying to pass laws and arrest people. Private corporations can use such laws and arrests to their advantage. But if there is no such powerful government to pass laws and arrest, will not that make spying much more benign, limited mostly to trying to steal business secrets?
9  Other / Meta / Re: Can illegal topics be discussed here? on: January 05, 2014, 08:27:45 PM
Illegal in any country. Mixing coins is illegal because it is technically laundering. If you earn money illegally, like from Silk Road, or in real world and convert it to bitcoin, then mix bitcoin and convert to dollars, that is technically money laundering. I am mainly interested in discussion for how to keep money secret and hidden. Such involves mixing, anonymity, and not reporting foreign income, foreign wealth, or capital gains. Ideas for how to hide bitcoin and still be able to spend it without being caught would be nice, but I do not know if this would be allowed.
10  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How much external immigration do you want in your country? on: January 05, 2014, 08:13:26 PM
Quote
1. How much?

Unlimited

Quote
2. From where?

Anywhere

Quote
3. How qualified?

Anyone who thinks they can find a job

Quote

4. From which ethnic groups?

Does not matter.

Quote
5. Special preference for persecuted ethnic groups?

None. If they are persecuted, they will probably want to immigrate more than others anyway.

Very idea of immigration is silly and meaningless in world of internet. Geography based politics and law is stupid and does not make sense.
11  Other / Meta / Can illegal topics be discussed here? on: January 05, 2014, 08:05:38 PM
What is this forum's policy about discussing illegal topics, such as strategies about laundering and mixing coins, bypassing restrictions on large financial transactions or international transactions, or strategies for hiding wealth and avoiding taxes on capital gains? I would like to discuss some ideas, but I do not know if I am allowed to.
This topic sounds like it applies to Bitcoin Legal thread, but I wish to discuss it from the topic of avoiding support for local government and political party, from the dissent and opposition idea.

It would be an unachievable ideal if I didn't have a proposal for how to eliminate the power vacuum.

I have idea for how to eliminate power vacuum problem, but I wish to know yours to compare. What is your idea?
Sorry, I can not read your links and very long posts, because I have no time for to be reading 20 pages posts, and it is difficult to read long paragraphs in english. Can you describe briefly?

Should we add your name to here http://assmkedzgorodn7o.onion/ to make this reality happen sooner?

This gave me idea. Coin that is mined by computer creating more and more complex IQ logic problems. Everyone in world tries to solve logic problem, and difficulty is adjusted to keep new block every 10 minutes, like in Bitcoin. Only world's smartest people will be able to solve blocks. Probably not possible, but would be interesting concept, maybe for science fiction story.

What is opinion of taking a conspiracy theory that is proven to be made up because its history is know, and then making this conspiracy real? Would the original conspiracy ideas interfere with new reality?

18  Other / Off-topic / Conspiracy theories, and proof of debunk on: January 05, 2014, 05:03:08 AM
What is your opinion or knowledge of conspiracy theories that have a know beginning? Example, big foot. People believe in big foot idea, and take pictures as well as try to make hoaxes. But it is known that big foot was invented by two construction workers as a hoax, and their hoax became believed as truth, even despite proof that they invented it. Even now some people believe big foot may be real, giving idea life, even f it is known to be just made up story.

Would you stop believing in conspiracy if you found out it was invented? Do you know of any conspiracy theories that are made up because the people who invested them have come out of hiding to say so?
19  Other / Off-topic / Re: Once BTC is $10,000 each, what car will you get if you HAD to choose? on: January 05, 2014, 04:50:16 AM
Something in F series. Not sure if F-16 or F-14. Tomcat. Probably not 22. Too expensive.
20  Other / Off-topic / Re: Tax refunds are a bad thing on: December 31, 2013, 02:32:42 AM
Remember people, tax refunds are a bad thing. It means you gave the government a free loan all year.

When your friends brag about their refund, laugh on the inside knowing those idiots don't realize it's their own money they lent out and watch them spend it frivolously.

While you had yours all year earning you interest and not the government.

Truth. Much better to pay very little taxes, put money in bitcoin, have it grow 1,000%, then sell some bitcoin to pay tax bill at end of year. Or move to Caribbean island if your bitcoin value goes too high Grin
